This is a beautiful story. I was so sad for poor little Obiora; he lived a nightmare with Obiagili. his wicked stepmother, who treated him horribly, she sent him into the deadly evil forest to die. The evil spirits in the forest was more compassionate than Obiagili, who’s only ambition was to destroy poor little Obiora. Because Obiora was pure of heart, the goddess of the forest through her power, kept him there, and raised him until he was an adult, and could fend for himself. She sent him back when she knew that it was time. He was able to get home, and tell his dad all that he went through. I was disappointed with the father because he was told by the villagers,how his poor son was being treated, he chose to believe his lying evil wife, while his poor child continued to take all the abuse. This was a really an enjoyable story. Good job. Greetings from USA.

Wow another interesting and predictable African story all these storys point to a single direction and that is hate decite envy and coviet and also most of all the women seem to be the main trouble maker in all these storys now I have been noticeing some thing with all the Father in all the African tales I have watch so far is the men will wait to speak to there son or daughters when it to late so when the damages has been done then they address the issues this seems to be a trend in all these storys it goes to show that the men on that side of the world are more in to wealth and work than to pay attention to family there is a book that is written by a white slave owner you can go on line and find it the books name is the willy linch speach he said in his speach you can keep blacks in slave for a thousand years just by keeping them separate from there family by working and neglecting family time money is the receptacle for seperation
