About ADA Inspections Nationwide, LLC:
The mission of ADA Inspections Nationwide, LLC, (ADAIN) is to provide reliable and quality inspections for compliance with the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design (2010 Standards) promulgated by the United States Department of Justice (DOJ). Inspections are designed to comply with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), ASTM E 2018. The American Society for Testing and Materials is the leader in the industry for guidance on how to complete a commercial building inspection including ADA.
Inspections are completed based on education, training, and experience inspecting buildings overall, but then the 2010 Standards are applied using checklists specifically designed for ADA compliance. For instance, a door may satisfy ADA compliance based on design and installation, but if the door is damaged or deteriorated in such a way as to interfere with the operation of the door, that issue will be revealed as part of the inspection.
ADA Inspections Nationwide, LLC also offers expert witness services for ADA inspection issues. If necessary, the ADA Inspection can be presented in a legal dispute as a component of these expert witness services.

The Lord hear our prayers. Finally someone, of course ADA, ILLUSTRATE the mechanics of accessibility.
It's simply revealing how the occupation space works.
Edit: This is strictly parametric architecture applied to specific functions. The topic is called operative overlapping space. Must be considered all the time in design.

I agree! USAB provides good information regarding ADA accessibility. Thank you.
really wish there were numbers listed here for those clearance requirements
Very helpful to see it and not only rely on the black and white .
Agreed! A picture is worth a thousand words, but a video can be worth millions!!
Thank you. Yes, these videos are very helpful in explaining the ADA requirements.
@@adainspectionsnationwidell2247 maybe you guys can reply a lot quicker than taking a year to reply next time lol.
Why oh why did the illustrations not include measurements ???
I agree it would be better with measurements. I suspect they just wanted to show the concepts. Thanks for your comment.
So the 12" max. door overlap into turning space is a California building code thing?
