I was born in 1998, and I'm lucky that my parents had me watch good shows like this. I remember popping one of the tapes into the VCR and jumping back to the couch to watch it with my Dad. I'm surprised I'm not a more loving person, after growing up with this. But yeah, my childhood was awesome.
Bring back our old shows!!! Kids these days know nothing about real entertainment! It's all video games and computers and cartoons now! This was the good stuff...this, and Today's special...and so much more!
33 now, NOSTALGIA.....I jst saw Sharon & Bram on Breakfast Television this morning. They're going to be performing @ the Redpath Stage this Sunday here in Toronto. So if u have children and are in the area try to reach. Think its a free concert
Ha! I remember this episode just from the intro. I am 29 years old and still watching all the episodes on Nickelodeon in the morning. Probably watched them the days I was out of school.
So much crassness and mindlessness in entertainment these days, makes me really appreciate people like this who dedicate their lives to providing wholesome and educational entertainment for children. Looking forward to showing these episodes to my daughter. Thanks, Sharon, Lois, and Bram!
Great DVD out there called "Free to be you and me" that I recommend. It has a similar heritage, produced by a woman and her peers that couldn't find suitable material to entertain their children with. Has michael jackson and a bunch of others featured in it.
Wow! That brought back great memories! I'm 32 and I still remember watching this show with my big sister. And yes, I still remember the "Skinnamarink" dance! :) Thanks for posting!
I was 16 when I had my son....I was a young mommy. My son and I used to watch this show together. He is 23 now ( my baby is all grown up now) this brought back many memories and made my eyes tear up....I Love You Zachary!
OMG I REMEMBER THIS SHOW!!!! IT WAS ON AT MY BABYSITTERS HOME AND I SWEAR FO YEARS I TRIED REMEMBERING THE NAME OF THIS SHOW BUT COULD NEVER REMEMBER. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS!
I loved watching this show when i was a child back in the early 90's my mom had always said to me i would put up a fuss if i didnt watch this she would always let me watch the show even if i was bad and she also had said i new all the songs to this and i would get up and dacne to the songs everytime when they had the show on the air.. im 25 and i still love to watch the show i wish they would bring back the show. it was one of the best shows back in the 80's to 90's
This was when Children's shows were at their best. I feel privileged to grow up during this era. I wish Kid shows today were as fun and educational as this today instead of filled with bodily "noises", toilet humor, and slap stick "comedy."
She was favorite and i cried for hours when i found out she passed away due to illness! R.I.P Lois and thanks for wonderful memories and getting me through my childhood and tough times during my life
I used to hate when this show came on. I believe the line up at the time I watched it was Maya the Bee, David the Gnome, the Little Koala, Eureka's Castle, Noozles, Grimm's Fairy Tales, The Elephant Show, and the Little Bits. Then they bored us with black and white Dennis and the Menace and Flipper before eventually transitioning into their after school programming. A later line up a year later cut out Maya the Bee but I think everything else remained the same. Then they eventually tried to turn Nick Jr into educational shit and killed off all these old shows.
t used to watch this show every night on TVO and along with this show also come polka-dot door, today's special and a few others. I wish i could shrink back into a pre-schooler again.
I miss this. I miss a happier time, when life seemed a lot more innocent. I miss my childhood. I'm 33 now, and stuck in a world of chaos, anger, and general hatred. Where did the time go?
The world isn't full of general hatred,. Just some dolts...and Hollywood. Just pay no attention to them and you'll see the world is still a good place.

That’s the truth. Was searching for where the “ I love you song” came from . My brother was singing it to his daughter the other day . I thought it was from today’s special another show on Nick jr at the time . It turned out to be the elephant show .
I never seen this before but bits and pieces I find on UA-cam me and my daughter always enjoy. She loved the song skinamarink a dinky dink they did and watched it daily as a baby she absolutely loved it and I found a rooster song(I think) and its about animals noises and bram sang but now I can't find it
Sharon Lois and Bram were like the 'Wiggles' of the 80's. My parents took us to a live show when we were little. All the kids in the audience just wanted to see the damn elephant, lol
I’m 40 now. I remember watching this when I was 6! Lol! It was my favourite show! I use to have such a crush on Lois! Lol. Now at 40, I have a crush on Sharon! 🤣🤣😅. Lois, I’ll always remember you. I adored you as a little fella!
I am also 28. It seems to me that 28 is the prime age for maximum nostalgia for this show. Other things that make me nostalgic - Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Fraggle Rock, Growing Pains, Charles in Charge, Big League Chew, and transforming McDonalds Happy Meal toys.

I'm 27 and Now I love singing this song with my 3 year old daughter, she can't get enough! Keeping it alive for another generation.
I miss my childhood I wish I could go back in time and relive it. I miss the late 80s and 90s and miss all the music and shows!
Ha! I remember this episode just from the intro. I am 29 years old and still watching all the episodes on Nickelodeon in the morning. Probably watched them the days I was out of school.

I used to watch this show with my younger sister :)
This was a great show glad I watched it when I was younger.
I was born in 88 when the show ended but they must have played it in re-runs quite a bit because I remember watching this when I was really young.
I was born in 85, and I remember watching reruns in the early 90s on Nickelodeon.
This is all I remember of this show and I remember being disappointed each and every time that the entire show wasn't animated.
***** I hear this song and it's the damn Police Academy Movie theme song.
***** HAHA, I always wanted more cartoon also!
I used to hate when this show came on.
