I once walked out of hotel onto the streets of San Francisco. About 9pm, I walked, walked and walked, returned back to downtown at 4am. One of the best days I ever had. Walked, saw the bridges, run down abandoned streets, saw busy piers, the bars & clubs, the homeless, city lights, empty malls, empty streets on the outskirts. Also an amazing weather, around March/April, had my school hoodie.
I was so very disappointed to see that this was only 12 minutes long, i wish it would have gone on for hours. Needless to say this will remain on repeat for quite a while. Love this tape..major props to the producer
this one's one of the best I never really replayed the others more than 2 times but I keep playing this over and over again. it is so soothing i love it
The year is 2014, and it is a perfectly clear day. Me and my brother are lying on a beautiful vacant beach, and it's my first time doing shrooms. We start peaking on 3.5 grams and rolling around in the white sand and feeling as though we were related to the earth. I look at the massive tree trunk that lies on the beach, and the patterns on it slightly move in a wave like motion. I climb onto it and smoke a joint at the end, overlooking the ocean and mountains in the distance (which is actually my profile photo). As we start coming down, we lie on the mats that we brought to the beach and make a pastel painting, laughing our asses off at the ridiculous abstract face we drew. We start to chill a bit more and go into a really deep conversation. He throws this beattape Idealism - rainy evening on the portable speaker, and we talk about how good we have it compared to some others in history, and how ridiculous it is how our whole society glamourizes wealth without much regard for other people when we start to realize relationships are worth more than objects. When Nagashi comes on, the beat hits me so hard that I can feel tears in my eyes, and I feel very grateful for everything I have when thinking about people who have been through horrible things. I tell myself that after this day I won't take anything in my regular life for granted again. We listen to the beat tape on repeat for at least 6 times as the sun sets, then get in our sleeping bags and sleep under the stars. By now the shrooms are barely noticeable, but when you focus on the stars can see them form slight patterns once in a while. We stay up all night talking about the past and what we'd like the future to be. Before we know it, the sun comes up behind us, and we see the full cycle of the sun again. I take my dog for a long beach walk, thinking about the day that happened. I feel physically awake, but mentally tired from such a mental journey. It's almost 2020 now, and I hadn't heard this beat tape since then, after I spent a long time trying to find it again. As soon as it came on, I got a feeling that took me right back there. Though I should be studying for a university calculus final that's tomorrow, I felt as though I needed to write this. To anyone out there thinking of doing psychedelics, I really recommend thinking strongly about the set and setting beforehand. Make sure you have everything you need (water, food, music, activities etc.), and that you have at least two days off afterwards to reflect. (Also make sure you won't have to worry about anyone like parents knowing you're under the influence.) You can get a lot out of it if you do it right. And once you do it once, in my opinion you won't need to again as long as you reflect on the experience. Thanks to whoever for reading this whole thing! Spread that love
This was the first Lo-fi album I ever heard in my life. I listened to it a year ago and instantly fell in love with the entire genre. I get an emotional nostalgic feeling whenever I hear it. Thank you so much Idealism.
Currently smoking a blunt while gazing over the foggy Lake Superior here in Duluth MN. Best vibes I ever had in while with this music, no cancer in the comment section either. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Listening to the chill beats and reading most of the comments Got me thinking about everyone that commented lives.Their 3-1 year comments got me thinking about their lives and that there is no possible way for us to meet but I still feel so connected and it's all because of a tape of songs. Hope I meet some of you guys.
Playing this while it's actually raining right now. As the beats play, time to time, thunder comes here and there. The thunder and rain combined just gives this nice feel to the beats playing. Thank you for making such a cool mix, I needed this.
-Think. Take the wheel, drive. Let the thoughts and emotions pass like the mile markers in the night sky. A gentle rhythmic rain glazes your windshield while washing away all your troubles. -Think. A kick and a snare to keep you moving, under a graceful piano lick that keeps you grooving. -Think. What settles in? What crowds your mind? What can't you let go like the sight of an incredible star-shine. All can be conquered if you just... -
Excellent music for when I'm drawing and painting, driving late at night, chillin with a friend talking about life, thinking about life, and enjoying the time I spend doing simple tasks. This is good background music of just living in a moment.
cant remember the last time i was rlly content with life, this tape made me realise i am tho. a big thank you 2 whoever uploaded this and the person that made this
"What if, you had a specific number of stars? Ive always wanted this. But, to no avail. i dont think its possible. But i wont stop trying, To me. I cant give up anyone, on my journey to find just a simple answer as this one, Finding a friend for the first time. and actually hanging out with them is cool, They are one specific special star, And. thats you, Whoever is reading this."

It was 8:35 pm. I finished eating dinner. Went to my room, got on my bed, turned off the light, blindfolded myself with a soft cloth, hugged a pillow and sat up straight and listened to this and meditate. I heard my heard and my mind.
I'm listening to this while chilling in my armchair, knowing it's my first day of my summer holidays, smoking some pott and having the balkony door to my right left open, so i can hear the raindrops on my little table outside.. it's wonderful
Listening to all of these songs and looking at the pictures - I just zone out. Something happens that I can't explain with any word. Something beautiful, away from the world; away from my worries; forget about everything for once in a while and just take a moment to think.
