@@Oskar.s.s Origins ratings around this time were around 3-4 million, alot of viewership from afl states at this time because even though they weren't fans of rugby league, they would tune in for the spectacle and brutality of origin matches
Now ratings are usually around 1.5-2 million, and the spectacle is almost gone.
The administration at the time thought they were doing the right thing by cleaning up origin but all they really did was halve the TV audience and interest nation wide.
