To all the haters out there saying country music is never the same, you don't know anything. This duo between these guys sets a great symbol for country music and I'm so glad they are a part of it.
The only thing this is a "symbol" of is modern pop country. Not detracting from their talent at all, I own all of their albums and I enjoy listening to them. But this is in no way what country music was meant to be. Sam Hunt, FGL, and even Luke Bryan have changed the ways of country. The only modern artists with old roots are William Michael Morgan, and Ben Haggard. Maybe a couple more. Country music isn't made by singing about trucks, beer, and girls, while incorporating a little twang. This tends to corrupt the minds of new listeners. People lose an appreciation for the roots of country. Strait, Haggard, Hank Jr., etc.
+Charlie Adolf, III Very well explained man. It's just frustrating to see that people automatically dislike and say how it sounds similar to rap, which doesn't make sense at all. They are one of the best duo's in all of the history of this genre and it's great to see them continue to grow.

This song describes my life at the moment I was in. Then this angel came into my life and made me feel that I was alive again. I never believed in love at first site until I met her. My beloved husband of 26 years, Curtis Schumacher passed away. The images of Curtis suffering a massive heart attack and collapsing at my feet will haunt me until the day I die. Curtis reached up and tried to say something to me, I couldn't make it out. Then he just melted. I sprang into action and grabbed the defibulator and the nitro and went to work on Curtis until the Fire Department, then the EMS arrived. they worked on Curtis while I paced the floor praying. They would yell," Clear" and hit Curtis with the defibulator and he would flounder on the floor. I am far from Ok as I write you this message. Curtis was not only my lover, my best friend , my fishing partner, my hunting partner, my life. Curtis raised my son as his own as we met when Travis was 4 years old. He was so intelligent, far more than his years. He didn't fear death and was in quite a bit of pain. I'm sure, had they been able to revive him, he would have been pissed at me for it. I just wasn't ready to let him go.If I don't get out of here soon, I'm going to loose my mind. My husbands deceased body laid on my Kitchen floor for 4 hours as the Morticians men decided they needed to stop and watch the ball game. When they finally arrived to carry my husbands body away, one of them jumped out of the vehicle and said, "OK Boys, let's Bag'em and Tag'em" I am still in shock that someone could be so cold and say such a hurtful thing in front of me as they carted my husbands body off. I went through a divorce after 18 years of marriage. I sure wasn't looking for a new relationship. Then when I least expected it I met this amazing woman that has been a breath of fresh air and a life saver for me. We are so much alike it's almost scary. To all the haters out there saying country music is never the same, you don't know anything. This duo between these guys sets a great symbol for country music and I'm so glad they are a part of it.
The only thing this is a "symbol" of is modern pop country. Not detracting from their talent at all, I own all of their albums and I enjoy listening to them. But this is in no way what country music was meant to be. Sam Hunt, FGL, and even Luke Bryan have changed the ways of country. The only modern artists with old roots are William Michael Morgan, and Ben Haggard. Maybe a couple more. Country music isn't made by singing about trucks, beer, and girls, while incorporating a little twang. This tends to corrupt the minds of new listeners. People lose an appreciation for the roots of country. Strait, Haggard, Hank Jr., etc.

My beloved husband of 26 years, Curtis Schumacher passed away. The images of Curtis suffering a massive heart attack and collapsing at my feet will haunt me until the day I die. Curtis reached up and tried to say something to me, I couldn't make it out. Then he just melted. I sprang into action and grabbed the defibulator and the nitro and went to work on Curtis until the Fire Department, then the EMS arrived. they worked on Curtis while I paced the floor praying. They would yell," Clear" and hit Curtis with the defibulator and he would flounder on the floor. I am far from Ok as I write you this message. Curtis was not only my lover, my best friend , my fishing partner, my hunting partner, my life. Curtis raised my son as his own as we met when Travis was 4 years old. He was so intelligent, far more than his years. He didn't fear death and was in quite a bit of pain. I'm sure, had they been able to revive him, he would have been pissed at me for it. I just wasn't ready to let him go.If I don't get out of here soon, I'm going to loose my mind. My husbands deceased body laid on my Kitchen floor for 4 hours as the Morticians men decided they needed to stop and watch the ball game. When they finally arrived to carry my husbands body away, one of them jumped out of the vehicle and said, "OK Boys, let's Bag'em and Tag'em" I am still in shock that someone could be so cold and say such a hurtful thing in front of me as they carted my husbands body off.
