I thought the part about recording in the Hotel was interesting. Not exactly a common way to record an album back then. They needed an entire truck full of recording gear to be "mobile". Nowadays a laptop will do.

Loudest concert I ever want to was Foo Fighters. 125 decibels! Like a jet engine for over 2 hours. Glad I had ear plugs in.
