nothing wrong with adding them if you want to though, mine are in small personal wall so no liability apart from on me should they fail, been using them a long while now though and no signs of breaking
+Richard Ford for other shaped volumes just make up two sides and then trace the 3rd side the issue is angling the cuts, the beauty of staying with 90 degrees is it keeps the edges at 45degrees which most saws can easily and relatively accurately achieve. I wouldn't be able to help with 4 sided volumes unfortunately as if I want complex shapes I would stack volumes on each other. Or in the distant past I would have just molded them using epoxy and fibre. Have used beach balls pushed through a hole in ply wood as a mould to get half sphere volumes before. But not much other than that

Is there a simple technique should working without the 90deg angle or should you wish to add a 4th side?
