The battery has a protection circuit under the yellow (kapton) tape that does not let it charge if the battery voltage goes too low. You can peel off the yellow tape and connect a Lithium-ion battery charger to the bare metal contacts of the battery cell directly to bypass the protection circuit and bring the battery voltage up to 3.7v and then you will be able to charge the battery the normal way through the protection circuit up to 4.2v
I think the 365 bag was official, hence the not for resale sticker, probably someone just stuck it in there, but im pretty sure we all figured that one.
What these companies making sleep wearable devices always fuck up on us the low battery warnings are louder than a jackhammer, ruining your sleep. At least, that's what the reviews say. My sleep device is a cat.

I wonder how comfortablethey are when lying on your side. The control box and speakers don'tlook all that comfortableif pressed into the ears/face. Lol Plus how loud are the speakers? I love how Chinese firms spent the last 20+ years stealing Western copyright stuff and making knock offs then an actual legit Chinese firm was caught out by another firm stealing their stuff

O Savers. Where until a few years ago you could reliably find ancient av connector cables. The cheap audio space is full of "lenovo" branded products. No idea why, it isnt like lenovo is knwon for its high quality audio. Why not rip off a big audio brand? The Microsoft 365 is either just reusing the bag from another product or trying to show it works with microsoft apps like Teams which is notoriously bad at working with some bluetooth devicss that work fine with almost any other app. Other than in the warmth, you face melting off, and the iffynees that may or may not be age, these seam decent to put something soothing on and sleeping. Better than Airpods or IEMs for a cheap solution that doesn't have anything in your ears. I personally liked this vid Smoorez is spoiling us with vids this week.
That AB chip is a custom marking , the manufacturer is JieLi technologies, they make " microcontrollers " that has certain features like multimedia ,fm , lcd / led screen driver, rtc , ... , they can be customised, and these are all the chips cheap chinese bt speakers have inside. Sometimes it even include basic charge circuitry. Most times, its just a diode, thats it.
@@zzoinks well, it only prevents voltage to be leaking through the usb port if it is present, and acts as a very basic reverse polarity protection, they usually switch the battery (+) with the switch to the rest of the circuitry in the most basic way, other cases, the amplifier chip enable pin and mute pin is driven by the mivrocontroller to save as much power as possible, but that still consumes a few uA -s. If the device has very small battery they use the slide switch, if has no amplifier, they connect the output directly to the speakers ( 16-32 ohm ), no capacitors necessary, if has an amplifier and larger battery, they can use the controller - mute method. Those are the more than 5$ speakers usually. :)
I can say with a Fair degree of certainty that the mask is a genuine Lenovo product and it was most likely handed out at a convention or a product release and that's why it has a not for sale sticker on it.

I have a fancy version of this from Manta (the sleep mask company, not the Polish tat company) - it actually uses flat drivers so it doesn't dig into your ears if you're a side sleeper, so it's nice for stuffing your ears with white noise or listening to an audiobook or something. Music quality is pretty dogwater, though.
If you are in a market for cheapo earphones that you can sleep with, I would recommend Moondrop Quarks. They are small enough that you can sleep on the side without feeling them and they are actually useable in the summer.
That's quite nice, if you can sleep without feeling it. I have bought sleep earbuds on Amazon before but it's not really comfortable to lie on the side because I can still feel them. But they are better for lying down flat then regular earbuds because they flex as your ears change shape and don't hurt them like regular earbuds
I can't find it at the moment to compare, but I think that those are using the same Bluetooth module as a beanie hat I got for Christmas years ago. Battery in that was pretty much dead out of the box as well.
i love how they slapped lenovo on it, like it's so legit (but why microsoft 365 tho XD). the speakers are good, and the material looks fine as well. for a reasonable price they could be useful (if the battery still holds some charge...).
was thinking about buying it for my dad. he loves sleeping with earphone on. but since chances are the batteries will be a bust. it wont be a worth buy...

It was probably a corporate gift or something similar. I have seen those with various branding. They are probably good for flying.
