Rick, Nice video and thanks for the showing of the ACL E6 diesel locomotive. The E6's were all numbered in the 500 series. The purple color is Dupont Royal Purple. It was a nice color and faded badly in the southern sun. The saying was, "If you don't like the deep purple, wait a month and it will be much lighter and faded."
At 8:40 The duke power locomotive is a saddle tank locomotive. At 9:05 Is a tank less locomotive. It's basically a large thermos filled with high pressure steam from a stationary boiler.
Great video Rick. There is a lot of neat equipment there.
Thanks Curt. They do have a good variety of equipment on hand.
Rik, Bonnie and I have not visited this museum, so I enjoyed the tour and your narration.
Thank you Bruce.
You end up in some interesting places 👍
Thanks Mark. That's always the goal.

Tom, I was happy to see it and knew I had to add it to the video for you.
It was built as an E3, but upgraded. The shovel nose was kept from its E3 lineage.

David, thank you very much for watching and for giving that information. Much appreciated.
