"what do we do when its just up in the corner there" We use the vacuum in our house. If they're outside they're safe if they're inside it's a no. Daddy long legs can stay because they eat other spiders. We usually get the cobwebs down every few weeks or so because that's when they're back. If you're brave you can get a takeout container (bit of card stock/cardboard/ the container lid to trap it in there) and take it outside but they move fast. The females carry babies on their backs and you won't know until they spread.
Huntsman's eat other spiders too of course but they freak us out and we're not brave enough to take them outside.
Oh my god that sounds so scary 😂 I would not make it in Australia 💀😆
Aussie here. We have pet huntman spiders - they are great for keeping the other bugs at bay. They all have lovely personalities. And they are harmless!

This is why I could never bear to go to Australia - spiders!! I hope you managed to annihilate it ... 😉 Here in UK, I use lavender essential oil in a spray bottle and spray all around places they are likely to get in. It works pretty well here but over there, you might need a gallon of the stuff in a high velocity spray gun. 😃

Shot lists sounds fun at first but they can become tedious after a while if you are doing so many and its a long list, but there are loads of great free templates you can use online to help you just fill it out and you can get it done quicker

So pleased you’re liking your new job :). When I got the socket adaptor thing for my MacBook for different countries it was called a “duckhead” adaptor if that helps. It charged so much quicker than going through a UK to Aus adaptor 🙏🏻

The huntsman spiders are harmless and are more scared of you than you are of them.Their good to have around and they will eat the roaches. We had one in our house for months.They up and leave when their ready.😃✌️
