My mantra for the best formations: 1. Observe opponent in battle and pick and rearrange your troops accordingly 2. Artillery units like catapult and ballista in the front because that's what the assassins hunt and the troops are going to overtake them anyway. Alongside artillery would be the mages because they are slow and don't move much. Right next to them on the flanks would be the magic apprentice because they would pass around the opponents 3. Just behind the artillery and mages come the best units like paladins, orges, and undead soldiers 4. Behind the best soldiers come the archers and frost archers and peltasts and scholars as second skirmishers 5. The rear is protected by the second best grade of paladins and undead soldiers 6. Last come the single units like swordsman, Templar knight, yasha, etc because they will hold the opponent's ghost assassins along with the second best group units. Between the single units, I place my ghost assassins so that when they disappear for attacks it creates a pocket for my troops to converge on the opponent's assassins

Guess I need to learn the names of the puppets now... Or maybe just use my random-tactic until I unlock chapter 3! 😄 Like how easy going you seem talking about this game.

Hello This is my strategy. Use 4 level gobizakis in the front and anhilate their front line. Back line use 3 high powered ogres and meteor golims to protect the back line. In the middle I use arxhers. Peltasts and ballasts. And high powered heroes around the corners

I would not rush to level troops up. Two level 6 troops may be more beneficial than one level 7 troops; However, always do the math to see what the best choice is.

You can place troops in the barracks or if you have more troops than can be deployed they will be stored in the barracks. You can also upgrade troops in the barracks. It is essentially a place to store your troops.
Question: How the heck do you have so many coins? Do you auto grind or something? Also, when you put your Facebook in for the arena, can you change the profile picture? I don’t want people to see my face.

Deana is a your girfriend? 5. Ads. Play a battle 8seconds, 30sec ads. Why is a 30sec, long time ads. Everyday play 100-200battle always play ads. I thinking 10sec is a max for ads. 3hours play in art of legends (2hours ads) 6. Money, Gold. Gems buying ok, but gold from a battle 2800-3000, max 9000 with ads is a too small money. 10mln spend for new troops in 5minutes! And see nothing in barracks. I thinking money is a best value in game. Only players needs 5x or 10x more money from a battle.
Goblikazes ppl, use goblikazes on the back side o f your troops. After They will blow up ghost assasins, use common infantries to distruct the remainin ghost assasins
Some high level harbinger of fire and Paladin does an excellent job in the back. They are the firs the back off when they are attacking by behind. I prefer use my orge in the third line
I will add that Goblikazes on the back row are useful in making those Ghost Assassins go boom -- the problem is you have a lot fewer troops for everyone else.

The easiest way to take care of assassins is to put 2 or 3 groups of Golikazes in the very back row. Takes them out quicker than anything else.
Yeah, the game certainly has changed. Goblikazes are looking really good!

Level 2000, watching every videos. The current maximum level is 5500, you could redo the same level which is level 5500 only.

I would not rush to level troops up. Two level 6 troops may be more beneficial than one level 7 troops; However, always do the math to see what the best choice is.

I believe so. Seems like they made the apprentices no longer distract any enemies at all. So they're much less useful than they were.
Pro tip.. move your hero to the side so the ghost assassins won't assassinate it
What are Barracks on the lower left corner ?? It shows 0/100 for me. What does that mean ?
You can place troops in the barracks or if you have more troops than can be deployed they will be stored in the barracks. You can also upgrade troops in the barracks. It is essentially a place to store your troops.

You have to keep passing a certain number of levels. I cannot remember the exact details. Your barracks will begin to increase at certain increments.
