And these unfortunate events in the recent past, have not gone down well with the Hindus (beating up people going in a car chanting Jai Sree ram in a car, Neha’s murder, attack on a film actor for speaking in Kannada in a road dominated by minority community etc.)

Indi group was not able to finalize seat sharing during Patna, Bangalore Mumbai meeting n suddenly PM given statement abki bar 400 par indi group n media houses started discussing this. Not every Indian is comfortable with hindi. Please get out of your parochial mindset. The important thing is to be as inclusive as possible. Some episodes are in Hindi and some in English depending on comfort level of the guest invited for a particular episode. Since you claim to have PhD in English I'm not sure what you are complaining about.
