Siddis - Afro Indians traditional festival

Siddis-also called Habshi, Kaphri, zangi are an Indian and Pakistani ethnic group of Black African descent. Most Siddis are believed to be the descendants of slaves (lookup*Indian Ocean slave trade) , sailors, servants and merchants from East Africa who arrived and became resident in the subcontinent during the 1200-1900 AD period.
