Brief history behind this project.
Throughout my musical career, I've had only 2 projects: my solo project that you know as K.I.R. and Dark Twin which is a collaboration with my best friend ‪@Sergakasinets‬. The funny thing is metal/djent constitute a small part of my music life. Don't get me wrong - I love my albums and all that guitar stuff but my pure passion always lies in the world music, ambient, blues, goddamn electro-industrial, techno and cyberpunk music! Only there I get inspiration and ideas for my metal music!
As you can see, I publish guitar music videos less and less often because of hard work on my new two projects and one of which you’re listening to right now. It's called Torn Matter and it's about my pure passion to electro-industrial music. The heaviest, scariest and the most aggressive things which I couldn't use for my metal music will be in this project. This is my first such daring experiment. For many years I have been holding in the idea of creating a project with music that is absolutely not typical for me and finally I’m ready to do it. If you want something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done. Let’s see what happens.
As for K.I.R. project, I’m going to take a break for the time being. But don’t worry guys, it doesn’t mean that you won’t hear K.I.R. anymore. On the contrary! The K.I.R. mood will be in all those projects and you'll immediately feel it. I've only diversified the instruments...
