Also don't forget -- you can learn SO MUCH about off grid life skills and much more from books at Your Local Library! Visiting your local library often is a big part of the off-grid, DIY, homesteader life style!
Yes. The point is, if you currently don’t have many hours to spend at the library gathering and vetting resources and information, here it is for a relatively small fee.
If you have the time to do all this research at the library yourself, that’s amazing!!
This is what we've been waiting for
If you’re not living off the gird yourself Alyse, why should I buy a course from you?
i do not personally have a course on off grid living, this is why i joined the bundle to learn from others who are living in ways that i aspire to.
Richard, Alyse seems to be an honest and transparent person, so I’m sure she’s okay with people knowing that she does have a course included in this homestead bundle. Her Higher Self Initiation course is included in the bundle 🙂.
off the gird
Yay, your presence always reminds me what to truly focus on 🤗 Thank you for helping me live authentically 🥰, and it grows more as time goes on, thank you!
Roots and refugee on UA-cam is a great free learning source along with many other homestead channels
How can you teach something you don’t entirely live?
I wonder...does anyone live entirely what they teach?
@@charmed0009 I'm female and just very confused. not frustrated so much.
I am currently in the process of buying a cute & quiet cabin that is on 5 acres and I can’t wait to start homesteading!
Ppl always hating bc they r jealous. This woman has always went for what she wants and hasn’t been afraid to make changes. I have followed her for yrs she has moved around. U have to take steps to change ur life if u want a dif reality than what u have. I’m a single mom going thru a break up bc I had to let him go bc he was bringing me down. I took a few wks to heal but it is back to the drawing board. I filled out an application and the ball is starting to roll. My dream also is to own a home off grid or I just say “in the country” my parents live n the country it is where I grew up so I’m going to bust ass and save and buy a cabin and put it on their land and help them pay off the land, so all of us benefit, that is my goal right now.
i havent been in this side of youtube for awhile and randomly thought about alyse but im confused as hell
LOVE this comment, same
or yeah, i saw it when she only ate meat lol
In Massachusetts we call that a hobby farm, meaning it's not for production.
In North Carolina we called it Home.. not a farm.
That sweater/button up!! Where is it from??? Love this video, so calming and inspiring. Definitely getting that off grid bundle, too, thank you!!
Welcome to farm life. Waking up at 5:30am everyday is just the beginning of farm life.
Started a container garden in the small patio space that came with my apartment, learning how to bake breads, can produce, learning what edible plants grow locally and how to harvest prepare and use them for different purposes.
This makes me so happy! My husband and I have been renovating our old farmhouse on the edge of our hometown in rural Ohio. The vibes right now are ~settling down~ ♥️
Oh man this video hit home is so many ways 🥺. Haven’t been back to MA to visit family since 2019… I miss the quiet of the nature 🥹 and u showed some Kanekiki 🥹oh my heart
such a beautiful video Alyse. Got me emotional for some reason.
What was your contribution? I saw other influencers sharing this. Unsure if is just influencer sharing at that they’re excited about it or because they have a part of it.
A HUGE paycheck
She has a higher self initiation course in the pack
I live in Massachusetts! The end of summer/beginning of fall is such a beautiful time here. I hope you enjoyed your stay!!! ❤❤
I really enjoyed watching this video. So relaxing and peaceful☺️
Im excited to watch this!❤
Aaaahhhh excited for this part of your life☺️love off the grid living. Reminds me of Eugenia Diaz and Ellen Fischer, who are some of my favorites off grid, sustainable living UA-camrs. Wishing you the best😊
The cat in the basket made my heart melt ☺️
Alyse you still havent done a video about how you healed from adrenal fatigue and mold. It would really save me right now. Take care x
I used to follow you pretty closely when I was younger. I just have to say that this video is a testament to how people change and reinform their beliefs throughout their life. I think that's why in my opinion it was in poor taste to sell your lifestyle to people, especially when you were raw vegan/vegan and operating from a lot of ignorance. Regardless, I hope you find/have found the happiness and peace you are looking for.
The same thing will happen here. She’s simply selling a lifestyle until she’s tired of it again
Yes to these calm centered relaxed videos. No to preacher teacher alyse. Just my 2 cents! Love these type of vids from you
Would love to see more videos about life on the farm, learning new skills, trying new homestead type things! Also, as someone already pointed out: your local library likely has lots of info about homesteading and farming!
Your values and goals are exactly the same as my own. Just got back home to san diego after visiting family and the countryside farm. The goal as well for me is Hawaii, a big garden, living sustainably, simply, and slowly. 💚 blueberries are my favorite.
Goodluck with your journey!
this is a really beautiful and well done video Alyse
Reminds me of the fruit farm vids
Video quality is amazing
If you come from where I live and say "off grid" - I ask; are you Amish?! For my community, when the power goes off - no one knows about it :)
Please talk to indigenous communities about food security and living off land
I’m friends with many and most get their food from a monthly donation truck by white people who donate the food. Not lying or trying to be funny either. True story.
@@MoonFireGypsy Yes, I’ve seen many documentaries on this when I was studying food insecurity. Very sad.
This was a great slow and calm vlog. How wonderful to have a plot of land like this to just walk around barefoot and eat berries!
Please what is the music at the beginning???
Alyse you look amazing! I haven't watched your content in a while. Shortly after you left Instagram, I did the same! I started building a community on Facebook & I've been enrolled in IIN since January! I just wanted to thank you for being my biggest inspiration & the Universe for helping lead me to you! A lot of my biggest accomplishments, mile stones & breakthroughs were because of you! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for existing & sharing your truth with the world! So much love & light to you, always!
This feels so authentic and … like the real you? I just really enjoyed this. It makes me happy to see you finding joy, Alyse! I pray you are able to purchase your own land and pave your path 💛

I found you through the Homestead/off grid bundle. It'll take me at least a year to go through all the info that was included in that, and I'm looking forward to your course. That's a lovely farm and yes, it's crazy expensive, but it's possible to make a great life on much less. I only have a little over 2 acres and I raise dairy goats to make my own cheese/soap, have chickens and geese, a big garden with high tunnels/greenhouses built mainly with salvaged materials. We're not off grid as such, but it's the end goal in a long journey and learning as I go. Thank you for the beautiful video.
In every woman sleeps an angel a princess and a demon… The one you wake up will be the one you get…
hi - love your content! just wanted to share we lose the matcha benefits when we use metal to mix/store it in :)
Hi Alyse, after watching your video I saw one from a lovely artist I follow, Caro Arevalo ... I think you'd LOVE her super detailed art, which features fungi.
So refreshing!
Alisy, esse vídeo e você têm tudo a ver com natureza, beleza e harmonia. Felicidades! Até
Good for you. I would love to adapt to what you have accomplished. I think it's much better to live off the land and be more thrifty. My monthly cost of living mounts upto $3500 in CDN dollars. Almost half that amount goes to rent.
Over the years of tuning in to your channel, this video right here, is my absolute favorite. I could not be happier that you are finding a more balanced, mature direction. Makes me smile. I also love your natural hair colour. I wish your dream of owning such a farm comes true. That seems to be your true element. Showing people how to fend for themselves, is invaluable right now. Most are completely clueless about how to live without the system. I've been learning these things since the 80s and have seen this coming for a long, long time. Keep it up. Much love 🧡
Okay but wow your top! That cute orange bandeau! I’m little like you sister, where’s it from!? 🙏🏼😍😍😍
I’ve came here to say that I’m so sorry for judging you when you bought your dog! I’m sorry I did that and I’m sorry I wrote you a bad comment here on your channel 🙏🏾✨🙏🏾
🌈🌟
Wow, respect for leaving a positive UA-cam comment 💪💕
We love you Alyse!
💗💗💗
I would loveeee to get the off grid bundle, im just so broke atm. Thank you soo much for taking us with you on this path, this is exactly what ive been loving to see lately. Slow living, off grid living and reconnecting to nature. I hope to see more of this kind of content from you. I’ve been here with you since the beginning ❤ much love to you!

Gosh I wish I could live on a farm ❤
You can WOOF.
Thanks for your beautiful videos
What you’re searching for you’ll only be able to find in God
Not true god isn’t real❤
The concept of God can mean a multitude of things to different people. He/She/It isn't limited to the limited fundamentalist Christian understanding (luckily).
I agree with Noelle 200%
So long as she speaks from a Christian perspective
@@derekblattenberger2878 definitely a Christian perspective🙌🏼
Be open minded. What’s true and works for you doesn’t mean it’s true for everyone. Are we all individuals? Yes.
wheres that red tube top from
Have a look on shein
This video is so beautiful, so amazing 😍. We miss you here on youtube, Alyse ❤️. I really hope you will come back to a regular posting ❤️.
Good morning Alyse. Excellent video. Truly superb production values. My favorite method of maintaining a sustainable pantry and garden and stockpiling items long term for the whole family is what I consider to be the most practical, utilizing every type of food storage methods and technology available, both old and new. . Except for the fruits and vegetables that get canned, I keep perishable items like meat, poultry, fish, fruit, vegetables and dairy products in the refrigerator on a short term basis until I'm ready to use them for a big family meal - and for even longer term sustainable storage, a large separate freezer, which can store a half side of beef with plenty of room left over for homemade ice cream etc. . I'm considering upgrading to a walk-in freezer at some point.in the near future, if my plans to open a bed and breakfast come to fruition. Sometimes, however a nice round of cheese can do well for quite awhile on a pantry shelf at room temperature - and doesn't mind even if it has to stand there alone. Store bought canned goods get shelves.in the large pantry closet - several for canned meat like corned beef hash, spam and sandwich spread and another for canned vegetables Bread, rolls, grains, homemade pasta, cereals and the like are stored in special humidity controlled bins I order from Amazon Prime - which usually get delivered to my doorstep about an hour after I order them. . Stuff from the family garden and orchard, like onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, cauliflower, cucumber, pumpkins, carrots, corn celery,, potatoes and yams, cherries, blueberries and strawberries get canned in Mason Jars and stored in the cool, root cellar of this wonderful rambling former farmhouse (circa 1867) I share with my extended blended family and several rambunctious dogs raised on table scraps from the some of the finest food from a plethora of sources both commercial and home based. . There's even a special separate "summer kitchen" which I converted to store butter and ice cream churns, pots, pans, utensils, extra storage containers, foil, bags, cutlery, and other meal related accoutrement. Out back in the woods, just beyond the big pile of wood I maintain all year, (for use in an antique woodstove I keep on hand, in case the power goes out) there's even an old rusting vintage still where my great grandfather made some of the finest corn whiskey for miles. Next to it is the rusting hulk of the Ford Model A he used to transport that powerful hootch by the light of the moon on soft summer nights to his eager customers in a tri-county area. Further into this verdant forest of mostly sycamore, oak, pine and scrub, runs a cool stream into which I occasionally cast a rod or net to catch some Brook Trout, Bluntnose Shiners, or whatever takes the bait (just earthworms for the most part). And yes, hunting season means wild turkey, deer, and even an occasional wild boar. Next week, I'm planning on filing for a permit to 3-D print a smokehouse in order to be able to create gourmet artisan handcrafted, beef, bacon, turkey, and beef stick jerky, which interested local merchants can private label for other people to share with their families and their family dogs. Unfortunately, I had to break the bad news to my free range hens today that due to expected egg shortages regretfully numbered are their days of laying a couple of eggs and then basically taking the rest of the day off with ranging privileges' within the parameters of a few very nice rural acres - parts of which are rich with fat grubworms. There's even a short dirt road between the main barn and the farmhouse which they're free to cross to get to the other side as often as they'd like. My rooster Ben overheard me and he ain't too happy either, knowing full well that due to oncoming egg shortages, he'll be "workin' overtime to make sure there's plenty of eggs for the family and I.
