Great review! I have to say, I hadn’t much interest in any fragrance from the One Million line until I watched this review and your other review on Azarro Wanted by Night. I picked up Wanted by Night a couple days ago after watching your review on it and it’s one of my favorites at the moment. Thanks for a fantastic review on that fragrance. Just like you said, it truly is a fantastic release! You had a lot to do with me finding my current favorite with that one! Now because of that, I am really interested in One Million Prive because of the comparison you drew between the two. I’m going to have to test One Million Prive when I get the chance. The Wanted by Night is absolutely fantastic. There is so much going on with that one. I get an Indian Spice Bazaar one moment because of the cumin and cinnamon, and the next, I get lychee even though lychee isn’t even in there. There’s a beautiful fruit bouquet of lychee. I recognize the scent because we had a lychee tree outside while growing up and we’d would climb it and eat lychee fruit while sitting entangled in the branches. Thanks! I just got my nose on this today, and wow... The opening... It's just fantastic. I truly love the opening. It is without, a doubt, my favorite part of the whole scent. Best 1 million Privét review yet... and I've seen quite a few..!! It's been my most used fragrance for about 3 years now and I still love it (as does everybody around me, that always comment and praise it..!) How some find it youthful baffles me..! I just turned 50 and, totally feel it fits my age with the mature musky wood and sweet tobacco..! 🙌

This is why I like your reviews. You're not like most reviewers on UA-cam that complain and bash a fragrance. Especially One Million. And, you're not like most people who bash it, too.
I'm totally agree with your review. I'm more of niche fragrances but I tried this out and actually it's not a mainstream scent as more designer fragrances. In my skin projects really well and I totally see what you say about a combination of 1 Million/Armani Code Profumo/ Pure Havanne/ L'homme Ideal. Great review!
In my opinion the Cologne version (even though it smells differently but it's in the 1 million line up) is my favourite flanker from the line. I prefer spring and summer fragrances. The rose in that one really spells out perfect to me, for me aquatic and sweet or sweet and floral but masculine scents I really like.
Out of all the fragrances from the 1 Million line up what you rank them from? My list would go something like this. 1. Cologne 2. Privé 3. Intense 4. EDT 5. Absolutely Gold The Cologne version is very versatile and can fit any spring, summer and fall day.

I went to the store and they had a tester bottle so. I sprayed my self all over then I had a softball game I had to play in and I ran past a girl to get to second base and I heard her say Wow and she took a deep breath and said you smell soooo gooood..now I want to buy a bottle and I was getting wiffs of it and I really do like the smell.
I used to own the original and i am still fond of it even though i have more knowledge about fragtances now than back in the days i used to wear it. Regardless of the anti-hype and the hate for one million i REALLY like this one, i agree that you say it's an improvement over the original, youthful but not juvenile. Suits me well as i am 20 years old now compared to me being 15 and wearing the original. Great review Steven!
hey Steven the longevity is pretty good, I have gotten a lot of good complement with the new Paco Rabanne prive, I'm going to hold off on this until the weather cool down, I really like this flanker.
Had this fragrance for about a week, real cheap on Ebay France, 25€ for 50ml, guess I was lucky, someone didn't like it apparently, but could not use it outdoors yet because here in south France is very very hot, but really like this one, used it a couple of times after shower and it's really good with good longevity, to me not to similar with the original but I totally agree with your opinion that it's smells like those others fragrances you mentioned, have them all and they all smell amazing, kinda have a little collection, about 50 bottles, and it's all thanks to you and other reviewers on UA-cam, keep on the good work and I really enjoy watching your videos, greetings from France!

This fragrance is amazing. I bought a new Aventus clone a couple weeks ago, and Macy's put 4 random testers in my order. I ended up buying Prive because of this. I wonder if it's still as potent as it was back when you reviewed it.
It's a good scent. Period. It becomes a skin scent very fast, but last 3 to 4 hours. I like the sweetness combined with the fruitiness of the scent. Steven do you also have a review of Just Cavalli Gold for her (him)?
Loved the smell of this one at Macy's, by far the best flanker in my opinion. I hate paying full retail for anything but I might consider it with this one, I think it's definitely more mature than all the other 1 Millions and in my opinion slightly more versatile. Great vid, Steven.
I bought this one yesterday together with Viktor & Rolf - Spicebomb. Really loved the Invictus (on a second bottle) and this one is almost too sweet for me but it's just really conforming and gentle inoffensive smell. The Spicebomb is probably better smelling and definitely more unique and kinda outside of my usual style but I wanted something little different. I have smelled about 15 parfumes inlcuding all the best rated ones and it came to these 2 for me. If I had to pick just one I would get the Spicebomb but somehow couldn't leave without the Prive as well ;o] Honestly I don't think it performs that well in the longevity when compared to Spicebomb. I almost couldn't smell it after just 2 hours. BTW for my girl I bough the Tresor La Nuit by Lancome, such a great smell that performs for a looong time and is as addicting as the Black Opium I bough her last time.
Stellar review! I'm actually wearing absolutely gold today, cool day here, really need to try this soon, it's been available online for a few weeks but not seen any testers in stores over here, tried code profumo a few times but performance is awful on me, smells superb though.
I still love wearing the couple of samples that I have left of this. I agree with 99% of what you said in the review with the only exception being that if someone dislikes 1 Million, they won’t like this one either. I think that even if the base is strongly reminiscent of the original, it has many notes that makes it different enough that even people who don’t enjoy the original may end up liking this one. Not that it matters since it’s already axed but.. that’s my 2c.
But when it comes down to buying one of them I would have to go with the prive because it has of smooth smell and it's not overbearing like the first 1 million but I will still buy the very first one because it's the original one just to have it in my collection of fragrances

Smells to me like a cross between Invictus and the original and best 1 Million but I can see the pure havane comparison and for an edp on my skin it has woeful performance…. good video Steven

I bought a bottle of Allure Homme last week and they gave me a sample of this. I really liked it compared to that nasty 1 million cologne. This is right up my alley and great for cold season coming. Didn't think I'd like it
i disagree with the statement of the overpowering stench, of the original. The blood orange in the original is very overpowering for the first 30 minutes. anything after that, it just compliments the sophistication for the duration of the rest of the fragrance. i spray 1 time in the middle of my neck, and no where else and it lasts for 8 hours minimum. I've worn the original 1 million , to dates and my girlfriend gets up real close to my neck and literally buries herself in my chest because of it. Now keep in mind that she has no idea what the fragrance is called or when i will wear it, but every time i put it on, she can't get enough of it. she said she loves it a lot. It's the fragrance that i have gotten the most compliments from. and i own A lot of fragrances. The original is loud to people who WEAR it. but for the people whom your wearing it FOR... it's a guilty pleasure for them to be near you when you have it on.... trust me. 1 million is no joke, no matter how played out people think it is. It doesn't derive away from the fact that it is an amazing fragrance. It's not over hyped at all either. i think it deserves more respect.
Juan v I used it before and I really like it so that is why I’m planning to by a whole bottle. I feel like it really stood out more than other colognes
Just seen this video. Part of me wishes I checked out this one earlier. Ash has been pushing Privé for a while now on his lists (most complimented fragrances etc) and I got sample of it and I enjoyed wearing it. I also love the original and like Cologne too. My coworkers loved Privé. However I haven't received compliments with Lucky. I thought before sampling,that it's gonna be the other way around.

I rated it 9 out of 10 couse the same thing you said 1 million it like if close cousin they still can't top 1 million off..but it's a good smell my wife just bought it today at Dillard's we smelled the versace you mentioned and the YSL and the Jimmy choo intense and invictus..and alote more and that one million prive blew them out of the water..
I actually hated the original because it's too cloying. I couldn't stand it. I smelled this for the first time today and it was so good I melted. It's just so good. What it reminded me the most of is Oajan by PdM. So I'm thinking of this as a much cheaper alternative, although I do love Oajan so much.
I was given Baldessarini Ultimate by a very good friend. Reminded me of Gucci Pour Homme. It didn't last very long on my skin BUT, sprayed on my clothing: longer lasting👍🏽
Prive is actually better than the original one. It smells better and it is actually wearable, it's not over powering like the original one.

1 Million Prive is a winter beast, a compliment getter, longevity & projection is superb, you won't go wrong making this your signature scent

Got it. Smells nothing like the original. I get a lot of cinnamon and molasses, syrupy sense. Basically you smell like a cinnamon roll.

I also quite liked this one, to me I get a strong Apple/cinnamon vibe from it..like an apple Danish pastry. Definitely a good scent for the colder months, not sure if I'll buy it though. Looking forward to your upcoming Valentino Uomo Intense review

I bought a bottle of Allure Homme last week and they gave me a sample of this. I really liked it compared to that nasty 1 million cologne. This is right up my alley and great for cold season coming. Didn't think I'd like it

i disagree with the statement of the overpowering stench, of the original. The blood orange in the original is very overpowering for the first 30 minutes. anything after that, it just compliments the sophistication for the duration of the rest of the fragrance. i spray 1 time in the middle of my neck, and no where else and it lasts for 8 hours minimum. I've worn the original 1 million , to dates and my girlfriend gets up real close to my neck and literally buries herself in my chest because of it. Now keep in mind that she has no idea what the fragrance is called or when i will wear it, but every time i put it on, she can't get enough of it. she said she loves it a lot. It's the fragrance that i have gotten the most compliments from. and i own A lot of fragrances. The original is loud to people who WEAR it. but for the people whom your wearing it FOR... it's a guilty pleasure for them to be near you when you have it on.... trust me. 1 million is no joke, no matter how played out people think it is. It doesn't derive away from the fact that it is an amazing fragrance. It's not over hyped at all either. i think it deserves more respect.
Juan v I used it before and I really like it so that is why I’m planning to by a whole bottle. I feel like it really stood out more than other colognes

Just seen this video. Part of me wishes I checked out this one earlier. Ash has been pushing Privé for a while now on his lists (most complimented fragrances etc) and I got sample of it and I enjoyed wearing it. I also love the original and like Cologne too. My coworkers loved Privé. However I haven't received compliments with Lucky. I thought before sampling,that it's gonna be the other way around.

I rated it 9 out of 10 couse the same thing you said 1 million it like if close cousin they still can't top 1 million off..but it's a good smell my wife just bought it today at Dillard's we smelled the versace you mentioned and the YSL and the Jimmy choo intense and invictus..and alote more and that one million prive blew them out of the water..

I actually hated the original because it's too cloying. I couldn't stand it. I smelled this for the first time today and it was so good I melted. It's just so good.
What it reminded me the most of is Oajan by PdM. So I'm thinking of this as a much cheaper alternative, although I do love Oajan so much.

I had a box of Paco Robane miniatures and Prieve was the standout by far, even over the original. Wife loves it but it’s not too sickly sweat...
p.s the cologne flanker is superb and worth a try ..it's got a strong rose note that is very potent and daring

I was given Baldessarini Ultimate by a very good friend. Reminded me of Gucci Pour Homme. It didn't last very long on my skin BUT, sprayed on my clothing: longer lasting👍🏽
