I loved Leather Jardine as a man and bought a lot of boxes during the sale. It reminds me of a vintage barbershop vibe where you would smell it as a cologne/aftershave in the background.
They re-bottled it this year and it's been available on the Canada site for a while now. During last month's store clearance of the original stuff, it was one of the first to go. But before all the hype, it literally sat around on the site for months without any interest. 😆 Kinda funny actually. Another example of how much media influences sales.
Lovely review! I enjoy this scent a lot, got it based on some reviews that described it as a very vintage smelling frag. After that I was amused at seeing other UA-camrs saying it was awful, comparing it to an old ladies ashtray or something like that. Like that would deter me lol. I'd love to hear your take on Ebony Wood, also a Jo Malone creation. Zara has been coming out with some really nice scents, especially the ones in the male section, like Magnificent Black.
I picked up my bottle from TK MAXX (UK), it was on sale for £12.99! Even at it’s full retail price it is more than worth it. There’s some great fragrances in their line up, I really enjoy An Omochi Atelier in Tokyo from a collection they did a couple of yrs ago. Didn’t think it would be my thing but it’s won me over.
Was my SOTD before yesterday. I think you really need to like chypre fragrance type to appreciate it, I know you do and Sebastian Zara loves it too. It's definitely not for people who are looking for compliments, it's a fragrance almost exclusively for a self pleasure and it's what I like about it, good review as always Pep..
I’ve been trying to get an opinion on what season this fragrance works best in. Good to hear you think it will work in warm weather. Can you elaborate more on that?
Well, i guess it depends on where you live. This would probably feel heavy in heat over 30 degrees celsius and high humidity, but i think it's fine below those limits
I sprayed it in my armpits 😅 because i found it a bit harsh while smelling it directly on skin in the heat, but the scent bubble wafting from the armpit-area during an evening walk was lovely 😊 But yeah, I think you need to be a chypre-leather -fan to really appreciate it.
I was looking for this fragrance on the Canadian Zara website and found that it was no longer listed with the men's perfumes. It was in the women's perfumes and it has been put into a new bottle. The look of the bottle has changed and it went from 90ml to 75ml. I'm not sure as to whether it has been reformulated.
I think its sold out, its come and gone a few times and popped back in sales recently. they tend to do one and dones, unless its a major hit, I snagged a bottle a while ago. its a lovely unusual one for them. Ps. the Barbie one is rather good too, I just need to add some civet.

Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day

Right - my mother just bought it and the box has a bottle has an orange label on it, correct?
@@omarmiz Indeed!
Spot on- Nice. For me, it transports me straight back to the 70's.

Hi pep!
This sounds nice. Unfortunately also here I can’t seem to find it (anymore)
Also the bottle is so pretty
Hope you find it, Laura.
I managed to find a bottle in a Zara shop in Spain earlier this week.. (Completely sold out in Sweden and online)

Stank Barbie
Your review came in handy, so I made this my SOTD on what seems to become another hot day. I enjoy many of the Zaras.
Lovely!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🙌🏽🥳
Thanks for putting me onto it
US Zara website has been out of it too. Id love to get one in my hand 😢
Me too!
