@@LetsTalkIBD It could still be nice though if it were unexpected not to expect things to happen if you are unannounced. What is wrong with just hanging out at home and enjoying each other's company, maybe ordering in and not expecting anything else? I would appreciate that myself. Otherwise you feel like you have to entertain and you definitely should not feel that way! I actually thought it was kinda rude but that's just me and I know myself and I would not have been in a good mood the whole time.
Maggie, loved the castle and didn’t know we had one so close to where I grew up in York County Pennsylvania. Maggie I love your blog and wish I had someone like you around when I had my colostomy.
Agree with both these comments. I don’t miss having a period. I do remember that gush and I do remember ruining clothes/stain remover was my best friend. Don’t have to worry about that now!!
Have said this to you before but I don't think it will be remiss of me to mention here. YOU saved my life, when I felt like giving up after I was diagnosed with cancer and had to have an ostomy bag fitted you showed me how to change it and that there was life after. I wish you all the best at this awful time and keep going sweetie ❤❤❤❤❤ thinking of you and yours all the time xxx
Wow that was a busy weekend!! Yeah, personally I'd be a bit peeved, shall we say, if someone just showed up and expected to hang out with me and my hubby. It's not college. Being married and being a family and all is not the same. Glad you spoke up for yourself, it does sound like boundaries needed to be made. Even with the full weekend I hope there was enough fun in it to make it worth it. Nice hearing what's going on. Have a great weekend Maggie. :)
Oh Maggie rest!!! Take it easy!!! You live in a beautiful place that goes to beautiful places!!!ohhhhhhh you had a gusher of the night!!!so sorry!!! Next one will be short!!!❤ take care mags❤
Much love to you dear Maggie ❤ Love watching your vlogs ❤ You are in my prayers that you will get what your heart desires❤ Big hugs from Germany sweet Maggie ❤❤❤
Wipeouts were a regular occurrance when I was having periods. The one at work that destroyed an office chair was utterly humiliating! I hardly remember them these days. I was the queen of multiple methods of control simultaneously. And irregular? I was always surprised. You have my sympathy but keep in mind that this is how we get babies (when and if you are ready.) There were many months I would have been happy to turn in my "feminine equipment" and adopt a dog instead. Then I had my kids and I was happy I came with all my "equipment." Do not complain too much just yet because menopause is no joke! Meanwhile, you are radiant and also socially flexible. You look great, Maggie and I am happy you are slowly returning to normal. Have a better, slow weekend.
Periods~Blah~Blah~Blah! Been there done that and glad I don’t have to do it any more! That shopped closed when I was 40. Too much suffering from Endometriosis and Ovarian Cysts! Hopefully next months will be better
I get to spend this weekend with my grandson. It's the first time my oldest son has been able to spend more than a couple hours with his son since his now ex left (She's been withholding their son). It will definitely be an interesting weekend as my moms Alzheimers is progressing.
Probablemente no me entiendas pero tengo que decirte que eres adorable. Mereces todo lo bueno que te pase. Best wishes for you and your husband. Big hug from Madrid! :)
i completely get crying over food while on your period. i was switching between birth controls and the one i tried made me sooo emotional. i had pad thai that i saved to have leftovers for the next day. i was thinking about it all morning, i was so excited, and i couldn’t find it in the fridge. i looked in the outside fridge, nothing. i found it in the trash can for lord knows how long and i started sobbing, but i don’t cry that often so i went to the bathroom and was just balling my eyes out and my sister came down and saw and felt bad that she had accidentally tossed it, that she took me home early from school and got me a replacement lunch. i’ve cried over food twice and i can’t blame myself
I remember those awful, horrible periods. I swear having a partial hysterectomy about 10 years ago, was the best thing that I ever had done, and I've had a lot of surgeries. I hope you feel better soon. I'm currently looking for a different doctor that actually spends a little time with me with the colon and stomach issues. I had my colonoscopy, and he said that there was looping in there among other issues, but when I started to ask some questions, he couldn't be reached. Ughh
I get intolerable cramps but I can't take a ton of Tylenol or Advil so I tried chewable baby aspirin and 2 of those every 5-6hours knocks them out or at least takes the edge off
Also day 2 of my period is always the heaviest as well, that sucks you had to do a big drive and socialize that day :( I would have cried about the sandwich too- big time. ugh that's such a hard day. hopefully you can do some gardening this weekend and relax. Have you played the sims recently?
A bit personal, but have you ever tried Knix period underwear. They might help you get through with no accidents. I love your channel. Best wishes to you and Zach
Do you get the fatigue from autoimmune disease? I have a wierd form of IBD. Microscopic colitis. It's been really hard to stabilize my weight. I also have a few other chronic diseases. The fatigue after trying to go to events is crushing.
Ants and periods ruin everything! I don’t think people know, unless it happens to them (women) heavy periods are horrible. It’s like having a disability
He's fondly referred to as "man child" on my channel in many videos. He refers to himself that way. He married us so I think it's safe to say we are friends

Absolutely! Greatly appreciate it - I think he surprised us because he knows I've been a little down lately!
I’m glad you told him not to arrive unannounced. I would have cried for hours. Great job rolling with the changes. Very happy you’re doing so well. 🌹
It is definitely difficult for me when that happens. It takes a lot of prep for these weekends!

Maggie, your looking lovely and healthy. It's wonderful seeing you enjoying life again. 💖
I feel you about the period. I remember that gushing feeling. I don't miss my period at all. One perk to getting older lol.
So agree. During my menopause, I always said that I would take hot flashes over a period any day!

Same! I'd be so annoyed
mama doctor jones on youtube recommends using meat tenderizer on period stains! I haven't tried it myself, but it makes a lot of sense!
Great video!
❤Sending you a hug

Looks fun. I do not know much about Wine. I hardly Drink. In fact Never. 😂❤
You look beautiful and healthy. God bless. May you and Zack enjoy your life together. ❤
Nooope I can’t do unexpected guests. Give me at least 2 weeks notice or I’ll be a wreck 😅
Same!

Gosh. Heavy sigh. Being a woman is complicated 😢😂🤷🏻♀️
Adult child? Are you not fond of Zack's friend?
He's fondly referred to as "man child" on my channel in many videos. He refers to himself that way. He married us so I think it's safe to say we are friends
