Lot of great updates!
1) Introduce joints into the Animation workspace
2) Dark mode!
3) In the design workspace, have an environment option to be a selected color, similar to the render workspace.
Bonus points - a texture in the library added for FDM print surface would nice to see too.
I would like to see next in Fusion:
1) Dark mode
2) "Replace All Instances" (like in Replace Component) in Switch Configuration
3) Dark mode :)
4) Some example designs with some "good habits".
Configurations are starting to change the way I design for the better,. Fasteners is awesome, but please back it up with frame generator with reuse component! Its harder to add the box section than the bolts that hold it together.
Adding Weldments would be good.
Day 157 of asking for proper Dark Mode in Fusion
Yes
Yep
Day 1500 of asking for the drawing space to not take a day to update from a design
Day 158 of asking for a proper fullscreen mode in Windows, which is currently bugged.
When Dark Mode?
Are the Fasteners for paying only ?
I am using the free version (old hobbyist edition) and it is there for me. It's in the same section of the solid toolbar as the "insert canvas".
@@wolf9545 what is it called ?
If not it will be
You need to change to the team environment to get the fasteners. Create a team and move all your project to it and use it for new projects.
@@Todestelzer I must have done that a while ago and forgot I did that. That's why I originally said that I have access to the fasteners and am using the free version.
Buggier than wine programs ran on a Hackintosh with an AMD GPU and incorrect plist files. Just stop rushing every new feature out....
Imagine what we could accomplish if they fixed the bugs?
Imagine if you spent the time to put those 'bugs' you find on their forum where they can and are actioned on rather than a mindless thoughtless jibe here!
@@seabreezecoffeeroasters7994 Sorry, I didn't realize you worked for Autodesk 😆
@@seabreezecoffeeroasters7994 They are rarely if ever actioned on lol. Autodesk rushes every new feature out and then cleans up some of the bugs half a decade later. And then gaslights you about the rest.
Buggiest program I have ever used no question.
@@Te4mUp Last bug I reported on was followed up, fixed and noted in a release soon after. Being a whiner here about únspecified'bugs is bs.
Insert Fasteners definitely one of our favorites. Would be great to have the ability to group fasteners into folders in the browser. It would be useful for analyzing and would optimize animating groups of fasteners instead of individual fasteners.
How i'd love to have some of these autodesk internal demo designs to poke through.
Fasteners are not in the maker version, are they? They look great! Using McMaster takes forever. But they have nearly everything.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when people are designing like this on fusion. I can't even consider myself a novice lol
