It was all of the above :) I hope that next time im in the snow there are no other tracks so i can ride more. This KTM is powerful enough to get through it pretty well.
No studs? I disagree. Only a stud would ride in those conditions. You going to ride Hair of the Dog on New Years day? I think Boise Ridge Riders put it on at Little Gem near Emmett.

That did not look enjoyable, very sketchy and probably really cold, but I enjoyed watching it from the comfort of my nice warm house :)

Riding in the snow without studs is a blast but NOT in previously made tracks!!
Yeah, the tracks are really a pain. I like fresh powder!
In my experinces this fall, I would say single track is easier than the road in those conditions. Just have to be weary of roots and terrain traps.

I have done that race a couple times. I don't know if i will do it this year or not. I might just show up and watch the racing.
