Hi! Thanks for this video. Really helpful. I’ve been watching video messages on Jesus’ 7 last words as I’m doing a 5-min video for our church’s Good Friday online service. But quite nervous as I haven’t done that before. 😬 Mine is statement #4. Is the video for that coming anytime soon? 😅 Btw, I love your other videos and messages. Pls keep on doing what you do. God bless you!

Sorry but the father did answer to jesus claim for ending his pain.....
A psalm that goes from lamentation into praise
Like singing amazing grace... Christians know it. Jews knew what he was referring to. To a Jew this would be very understood psalm.
■Psalm 22:6-13 shows christ rejected by men, 14-18 christ ordeal at calvary, 19-21 christ prayer for deliverance, 22-31 christ Thanksgiving for victory.
It was a manifestation of god hatred of human sin. All of God’s grath poured into Jesus.
    Saves us from eternal death.
●Notice that Jesus always called the father his father yet here he's calling him his God.
●You have a messianic psalm where the son is asking how much longer until my vindication. The son speaking to the father. Christians don't pray only to worship we seek to speak to God. Here you have the son feeling the separation From his father a separation that has never been there before as the father and the son have shared a relationship from all eternity.
****SO WHY DID JESUS SAY THOSE WORDS????? MY GOD MY GOD WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?
Jesus always referred to the father as father yet this time he called him god. There was a disconnect as jesus finally felt what it was like to be separated from the father by the taken in of the wrath of sin.
Notice in numbers 28:3-4 3rd hour 9am and 3pm 9th hour, says the priest would need to do daily lamb sacrifices. One in the morning and another in the evening. See sample acts 3:1. Acts 2:14-15.
Mark 15:25 jesus was crucified at 3rd hour 9am. Luke 23:33-34.. . Jesus was then praying for the sacrifice presented to God.
    - Jesus acting as sacrifice and priest.
-Mark 15:34, Matthew 27:46 at the 9th hour evening sacrifice quotes psalm 22.
Matthew 27:38 He was crucified among thieves.
Matthew 27:45-46 and Mark 15:33 there was a darkness in the day from the sixth hour or (noon) to 9th hour is 3pm in jewish time….
The darkness is judgment. John 8:12 jesus is the light of the world fading.
WHEN JESUS PROCLAIMED THIS PSALM 22 THE PAIN AND CONDEMNATION STOPPED at the ninth hour is 3pm AS THE FATHER HEARD THE SONS PRAYER AND THE DARKNESS STOPPED. The father stopped the judgment as soon as the son requested it. It is finished John 19:30 completion of deliverance of redemption of humans. Matthew 27:50 he yielded his spirit.
"Just before He died, Jesus cried out, 'It is finished' (John 19:30). This is a quotation from the last verse of Psalm 22:31. In our text that verse reads, 'he has done it,' referring to God as subject. But there is no object for the verb in Hebrew, and it can equally well be translated, 'It is finished.'"
▪︎This is not a cry of abandonment but more of a request....how much longer until I am relieved from this and you deliver me from this judgment….since jesus drank the cup of judgment………..like in matthew 26:39 let this cup pass from me never the less your will be done.
Then in Matthew 27:50 he yielded his spirit………..luke 23:46 into your hands I commit my spirit….
ending the disconnect of men and God matthew 27:51 veil torn like in hebrews 4:16, Hebrews 9:3, Hebrews 10:20 we have a high priest in jesus as Jesus is now our mediator to God 1 timothy 2:5.
■This is why in psalm 22:23-24 it says: when he cried out (jesus) he heard (god the father). This is why darkness ended in Matthew 27:46. The father hears continually to jesus.... sample John 11:41-42.

God (EI), or the group of stars called Aries ("stars of God," Isa. 14. 13), which was always, during the six months of summer (spring equinox - Autumn equinox) somewhere above the horizon at sunrise, and successively corresponded to each of these summer months, in its turn, now went below the horizon, or set in the west at the approach of day, i.e., Aries or God got on the side of the earth opposite to that of the sun, and so became a night constellation. The Sun and Aries, being thus rudely disjoined by the intervention of the earth, cease their labor! Thereafter Aries, the poor Ram, gropes his way through the darkness of Egypt, or winter, in order to rejoin the Sun, his spouse, at the following spring equinox. Meanwhile the poor disconsolate Sun, bitterly bewailing his (the Ram's) loss, the great tears rolling down his cheeks (the rainy season then began), exclaims with David (Ps. 22.1), and our dear Savior (Matt, 27.46), "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani," i.e., literally, " my Ram, my Ram, why hast thou forsaken me?”
As Aries becomes a night constellation the Hebrews (Aries thru Virgo) go into captivity (Egypt aka winter). The firstborn of the Egyptians is Libra... and as Libra sets (firstborn of the Egyptians is slain), Aries (firstborn of the Hebrews) rises aka escapes captivity. We celebrate the Pass Over of the sun from Egypt (winter) into the Promised Land/Paradise/Eden (summer).

Timothy Yi, You didn't say what "Forsaken Me" means. If you are going to teach on a topic, You should know what it means and tell people.
Are you teachings on the other sayings from Jesus just as bad?.

Hey Dr. Alan! I'm glad you commented. I'm confident in the video's teaching and that it is faithful to the Bible

@@TimothyYi What you said opposes the Bible. Because the Bible tells us that Jesus didn't finish salvation on the cross, What was finished, was the prophecies about Jesus. NOT salvation.

@@TainoBaldRican People who know the Bible will know what Forsaken Me means.
Eph 2: 1 & v5 says they were dead in their sins, they weren't physically dead, they were spiritually dead [Right].
Then Eph 2: 12 tells us what spiritual death is, "Without God". So when God had forsaken Jesus, it means Jesus was without God, Meaning He was Spiritually dead.
Both the Hebrew for, "Forsaken" in Ps 22: 1 and the Greek for "Forsaken" in Mt 27: 46 and Mk 15: 34, Are.
"To Forsake, To leave, To Abandon". Which means Jesus was without God and that means He was Spiritually dead.
That's why 1 Pet 3: 18 says Jesus was made alive, [Born again] in His Spirit. and that's why Col 1: 18 and Rev 1: 5 says
Jesus was the first to be raised from the dead. Jesus wasn't the first to be raised from physical death, People in the Old Testament were raised from physical death, Jesus raised the dead. But Jesus was the first to be raised from Spiritual death.

@@dr.alanhales544 Jesus was quoting scripture.. the 22nd psalm of David recorded a thousand years before the fact Jesus never called God.. 'God", he always called him Father.. that should be your clue, not one time did he ever refer to God as.. God, he always called him Father but in answering the question he quoted from start to finish the 22nd Psalm of David even referring to the Roman soldiers gambling for his clothes, and in closing.. the ending of the Psalm in Greek is the equivalent of it is finished,👍💯😁
