Tbf, the developers have to focus on coding and creating the actual game for modders to mod. The modders already find the game, they just modify the aspects they don't like. Plus, the developers have to focus on other things and are on a time limit

They keep defending the nonsense and laziness of Konami so Konami don't care because they aren't comming under pressure to build a good game. The animations, cut scenes, presentations and contents have been the same each year they're stale and Konami refuses to update the. Look at EA the make make off the pitch improvements and attention to details each year but Konami won't they keep giving us this bare bone game to play every year. Konami does care about making a good football game.

I've installed this mod after your video. Made me want to play this game again, it really is a much more pleasurable experience. The pace of the game became noticeably faster though, but i think it's just right for the 12 minute matches. Thanks for the video :)
How you installed this mod? The autor made the video but for example my game is only vanilla. On autors instruction, there were another files, folders..didnt know what to do
I wish there was a gameplay Mod that allowed CB's to step up into the opponents half when they're sitting deep kinda like how City and Liverpool play on the ball. I feel it would be more realistic and leave opposition forwards with less space to turn and run at your defence.

This is the best mod by far (PRAISE HOLLAND) and has rekindled my nightly pc gaming. Started a ML w/ middlesbrough in hopes of making it to epl and then jumping to the controls of my beloved Villans. This looks amazing. I played PES 2021 for a couple of years, then got bored and put it down. I switched to FIFA 22 on the PS5, tweaked the sliders and enjoyed it (in a FIFA kind of way of course). But I just recently picked up PES 2021 again, and am back to where I had been. Mostly enjoyable game, but with a few issues that make me want to rip my hair out (blatant fouls not called, collision system inconsistent, CB;s that run like Usain Bolt and catch pacey forwards when they're 20 yards behind, scripting that ensures that your far superior team will go out in preliminary tourney rounds against minnows, etc. Still, enough good stuff to make me want to play. But these mods for PC are so next level. Makes me wish I had just bought a gaming PC instead of a PS5. One thing I like about PES (in general) is that you can modify/customize so many aspects of the game (even with console versions). For example, change player attributes to make them play more like their real life counterparts. Have you ever considered doing a video for that? I've dabbled with this a bit (I.E given wingers, who are SUPER pacey in real life, more pace in PES). It seems like there are enough customization options in the game to make players play more real life like. Have you messed around with this at all? I watched your video on formations, but I was wondering about customizations to individual players (beyond the cosmetics ones like different kits).

Sir Steeepz. You could probably pick one up quite cheap I bet... £400 second hand would suffice and as for installs...just follow my tutorials and I can always help out if needed. If you're not sure about PC. Find one in your budget and ask me if it'll work with PES.

Hey Spoony, I have football life, and was wondering if this is a better gameplay mod than theirs. I find on football life their v2 gameplay that dribbling is non existent and that once you go shoulder to shoulder its like two magnets. i dont feel like you can have momentum and drift around a player. Its like if you are within 2 meters then you are immediately stuck to the AI defender.

Hi Spoony is there a mod that you would rate on the same level as this one, for older previous years of PES? I want to get PES for PC but 2021 is no longer available on Steam. I've been able to find 2019, 18 and 17 for PC elsewhere. Which one would you suggest and which mod would be close to the one of this video? I'm not enjoying eFootball 22 at the moment and just want to try and have a proper mod experience for the first time, like the one in this video. Thanks!
Whenever I see this kind of mod, I always want to see what exact parameters they changed in the game files because of placebo effect and how random the on-field situation is. I feel a lot of the things shown in the video can also happen in the vanilla game. Again, in football gaming, placebo is helluva drug. Not doubting the changes to the gameplay, but it'd be nice to actually have a comparison in a controlled environment.

I'm sure the game is indeed controlled by internal coding parameters(reaction time, speed, physics, etc) so it'd be so much clearer and better to see what exactly is changed. I wonder if there's any modding documentation like many other games.
This is my thought when I first try gameplay mods. But after trying like 8 different gameplay mods, I can really feel the difference especially the responsiveness. Responsiveness/shot power/passing error would be good parameter to be measured, maybe comparing/testing them in training.
Placebo takes place the first few matches bit after a while you can see the gp mod for what it is and this mod along with gentlemans club are the only two mods i found to be superior than the vanilla game. I need to get used to this gp mod further but i like what i am seeing after playing around 12 matches with it

Have you tried Inca's mod? He claims to have removed Team Spirit for CPU, which worked as a boost, overwriting the stats. I played with it and it felt better, but it's really hard to tell if I'm experiencing just placebo effect or if it's a real deal.
I would give it a try! I only change a little the dt18 with PES Gameplay Edior and i'm finding amazing. Some gameplay mods, like you say, exaggerate a lot on many aspects.

So many great gameplay mods by Holland but the best can differ from person to person. Personaly I like "Realistic Game" the best simply coz it lets me play what I think realistic football is, it suits my style of playing. People can't even agree on what the most realistic speed is in this game, there is no right answer and no wrong answer. This is however the best PES channel on youtube! 👍

Absolutely love the shot power in Realistic Game mod. Too bad it's made purely for Superstar difficulty. Legend is still playable and it's actually pretty fun but there's something wrong with physicality of our players. Hopefully Holland will fix it.
@@adrianproniewicz1987 not sure about that. But it's still playable and fun to play. I'd suggest you to try Aio, Storm V1, and realistic gameplay. Each one has their own strength and weakness and it depends on your preference. Spoony made a video about these gameplays before, check them out

I don’t know if anybody else has this issue, but whenever I use a modded gameplay file, I feel like it’s effect wears off the more you play Master League. Have you experienced this with this gameplay mod?
Is this just for gameplay? I have virtuared and ultimate master league and don’t wanna mess up the amount of faces they have and the improved master league and hope this Holland mod doesn’t replace it.

One thing the mods can't seem to change is the A.I. mentality. They are ultra defensive. I recently played PSG away as Man City and had 76% possession and won 1-0 even though PSG were at home and they were losing 1-0 with 10 minutes to go they sat deep with 11 men behind the ball. They were happy to accept a 1-0 defeat as long as they didn't concede a 2nd goal. Quite often in these situations you will see the A.I. with "Deep defensive line" or "Swarm the box" when they are losing even though they need a goal. It just doesn't make sense. For me this makes every game feel the same. Me with 70% possession trying to break down a stubborn defense no matter which team I play?
guys but to have the graphics of the championships in the game and in the menu and the graphics related to the players in the game scheme do I have to install a different patch from that of the gamplay? If so, what patch?

Normal speed and don't use speed server mate. GK is set to level 3

Have you tried Inca's mod? He claims to have removed Team Spirit for CPU, which worked as a boost, overwriting the stats.
I played with it and it felt better, but it's really hard to tell if I'm experiencing just placebo effect or if it's a real deal.
I've not tried Incas mod. I'll add it to the list for sure

I would give it a try! I only change a little the dt18 with PES Gameplay Edior and i'm finding amazing. Some gameplay mods, like you say, exaggerate a lot on many aspects.

So many great gameplay mods by Holland but the best can differ from person to person. Personaly I like "Realistic Game" the best simply coz it lets me play what I think realistic football is, it suits my style of playing. People can't even agree on what the most realistic speed is in this game, there is no right answer and no wrong answer. This is however the best PES channel on youtube! 👍

Absolutely love the shot power in Realistic Game mod. Too bad it's made purely for Superstar difficulty. Legend is still playable and it's actually pretty fun but there's something wrong with physicality of our players. Hopefully Holland will fix it.

@@adrianproniewicz1987 not sure about that. But it's still playable and fun to play. I'd suggest you to try Aio, Storm V1, and realistic gameplay. Each one has their own strength and weakness and it depends on your preference. Spoony made a video about these gameplays before, check them out

I don’t know if anybody else has this issue, but whenever I use a modded gameplay file, I feel like it’s effect wears off the more you play Master League. Have you experienced this with this gameplay mod?
Definitely not, love it...others become more frustrating for sure
You got to remember that in Master league, there is chemistry and overall tiredness of your players, so that probably effects it as well

Is this just for gameplay? I have virtuared and ultimate master league and don’t wanna mess up the amount of faces they have and the improved master league and hope this Holland mod doesn’t replace it.
Just the gameplay, gameplay mods usually only replace two files, Exe and Dt18.

One thing the mods can't seem to change is the A.I. mentality. They are ultra defensive. I recently played PSG away as Man City and had 76% possession and won 1-0 even though PSG were at home and they were losing 1-0 with 10 minutes to go they sat deep with 11 men behind the ball. They were happy to accept a 1-0 defeat as long as they didn't concede a 2nd goal. Quite often in these situations you will see the A.I. with "Deep defensive line" or "Swarm the box" when they are losing even though they need a goal. It just doesn't make sense. For me this makes every game feel the same. Me with 70% possession trying to break down a stubborn defense no matter which team I play?
That's where my tactics come in handy....I'll work on the other leagues - Bundesliga and Ligue 1. Just look at the Liverpool Vs Arsenal clips

Yes mate. Any gameplay mods work with all patches. Unless dt18 or exe is changed for OTHER mods

@@bis0nat0r Actually the tutorial is in the video when you open the link. It says that the post was edited May 22th 2022, so I guess they changed the name.
Anyhow still don't know how to set the GK strength and what the fouls folders are? Perhaps @Spoony can shine some light on this, after all it's his link he shared. :)
