Nice view! Have you ever thought of touring something with a view at night? Then we could see all of the lights at night which is why I feel like a lot of people move to New York
As a visitor to NYC, I really appreciate Astoria. Lovely neighbourhoods, nice cafes, cool vibes, cheaper living space and I love how easy it is to buy groceries. Especially the number of fruit shops/corners! Amazing. Some cool wall art around too. Everything so close and easy to get into the centre of the city too
Both apartments are amazing. I absolutely love how big the balcony is in studio. There would be plenty of space to have a garden and grow some plants while still being able to use it as a hangout space. The two bedroom has a great sized kitchen and in unit laundry which are amazing to have.
I have been watching all of the recents videos, I miss NONE.....haven't commented in a while....but this one I had to! I love the 2 bedroom. A washer/dryer combo means more to me than a dishwasher. I dont use the one I have in my house now. I'm in the habit of hand washing. But Astoria is a really nice area. Kudos on the growth of your UA-cam channel too!! It was amazing to be a subscriber from the beginning and watch it grow!!
OMG! I've been eyeing this place. Can't believe you did a video. Kismet! I love this apt, but they need to step it up. LIC has luxury high rises with studios that dropped under 2K and 2 bedrooms under $2700. Even 42nd and 10th had a 2 bedrooms under 3K in a doorman building with a list of amenities. Astoria needs to drop that 2 bedroom to under $2400 to compete. Not being negative, but just suggesting they re-price.
@@CashJordan I'm glad you're not offended. Sometimes people interpret things as negative when in text cause tone is hard to read. I really wish I lived here.
You are in one of my most beloved neighborhoods. I host my livestream up The Block at Starbucks & my wife teaches at Empire beauty school on the corner of steinway . The night life in Astoria year round is excellent, especially on 30th Avenue. Another Great Video my man . You should become a daily Vlogger. Interviewing local celebrities. I would watch .
I can't do a studio. I need an extra room to run into and lock the door while I call 911 in case I date someone who gets drunk, can't handle their liquor and starts to get irate and beats me. Need it for safety.
For the price difference and the additional living space I’d go for a roommate and the 2BR. And if I was part of a couple where we were both employed then it’s a no brainer to take the 2 bedroom and use the second bedroom for multiple functions. Definitely a beautifully appointed building.
I would definitely choose the studio....The large terrace has me sold on it!!! What an awesome space to entertain friends.... The kitchen has very nice full size appliances as well..... This studio will not be on the market for long! Than y you for another amazing video Cash!!!
Your attachment and excitement over vanity storage cracks me up! Both are super nice apartments, well thought out and nice finishes. If I had to share the 2 bedroom, I'd choose the studio because of that terrace!! Thanks again for the tour! I like that you do tours in the other burroughs.
This is the first apartment I’ve seen that I’m in LOVE with (2 bedroom). Even in a pandemic, that’s plenty of space for my introverted self. Wish I could live there with my boyfriend ASAP
I literally just moved to Astoria two weeks ago from Long Island (closer commute to work and friends in the NYC area). I love it here so far, good mix of everything!!
If I ever move to NYC, I would really consider living in Astoria after seeing these opportunities. I am torn: the studio with the private outdoor space sings to me if I were to live in a highrise building. I would have a small container garden and seating/lounging space and take full advantage of the summer, spring and fall. Since it would be me living there, I would try to find some type of sofa bed unit or a Murphy bed perhaps to make use of the limited living room space. I would try to find a way for work at home space, too. Live that a dishwasher is in this kitchen. The two bedroom is fantastic but I would need that terrace!
For the money, I'd say the 2BR is hands down the better deal for only $600 more. The improved kitchen, larger living room, and chance to rent the second BR to reduce expenses or use it as a home office or guest room, all easily beat the outside terrace for me.
Not even close...Plus it has a washer and dryer...People are way overrating that studio balcony and underrating in-house laundry, much more kitchen countertop space, bigger and better floor-plan, and 2 separate large bedrooms...Plus the building has a very large rooftop area.
Both of these apartments are fantastic. I give the edge to the studio because of outdoor space. I love the studio because I would have it all to myself. The 2 bedroom is great for a single, couple, or roommate. Just depends on your living situation.
That studio is tiny! And I’m a studio person. I do love that balcony. I’d have to go with a Murphy bed in there to open up the space. It would be kind of tricky where to place it. It would probably have to go along the wall by the closet, and it would probably end up going into the kitchen area. That balcony was amazing.
At least after a long walk to wherever, in this building you can sit on your packages on the ride to your apartment. Thank you so very much for being so kind to the massive amount of people who dream of living in NYC. Also for helping the people who do move to NYC. Thank you for highlighting my comment. 🌻💜💝🦢👗❤🌺🐰🐱
Wow Cash.....the STUDIO of course because of the balcony and the kitchen is nice. I can do my wash in the laundry room in the building. I did my laundry in a laundry mat for years in San Francisco so no big deal. The views are wonderful too. Sit out on the balcony at night with friends and look at the great views!!!!!!!! Storage.....that can be taken care of. Thanks Cash.....you do it every time. I also like the location. I love the sights and available cafes etc.....not a Manhattan type to live there only visit, but Astoria has my vote!!
I would take the studio apartment depending on what you can do with the balcony. If they allow you to put up a covering of some sort, you could make a eating area out side.
Both apartments are awesome! Of course the 2 bedroom seems better with the space and the in unit washer/dryer, but that terrace on the studio! Wow! That's just amazing! You could get really ingenious utilizing the space by even putting a murphy bed! Nice job here Cash!
I’m good with the studio! Great amenities and the large outdoor terrace!! As usual, I’d have a rolling island across from appliances in kitchen area.. more space & separates the rooms.. nice!! 👍
Wow! One bedroom, private terrace! Big clean elevators! Great kitchen, just needs an island. It would be great if you can review costs at the end. Also, do any apartments allow pets?
I've been waiting to see what units looked like in that building! I used to go to Twist N Smash'd across the street all the time before it went downhill.
For just me, I would take the studio. That outdoor patio is the cat's pajamas! I would put the bed against the wall across from the closet right where the little alcolve is and hide it with some Ikea shelves that you could put a TV in and baskets to hide everyday stuff. A little bistro set and a small couch - and lots of seating on the balcony... Perfect!
Lol he loves his medicine cabinets! I LOVE the terrace and love spending my time out on the deck I have, but I'd go with the 2 bedroom. Plus, there's still the rooftop to enjoy some outdoors time.. I've lived in a studio before, and I much rather keep my bedroom separate from the living room. Plus there's only One closet. For clothes or extras? Couldn't live that way lol! Plus, I love the counter space in the kitchen in the 2 bedroom. I want to look into its availability lol...
I am in loveeee with both the apartments 😭 the studio would be great for when you're single 😂 and two bedroom with a partner or a roommate but unfortunately i live on the other side of the world 😂 Great video anywaysss
I'm leaning more towards the two bed-room, extra room for a roommate, office space, and/or guest room. Although I really like the balcony in the studio one. Both seem like great deals....although no medicine cabinets were almost a deal-breaker (jk).
Believe it or not, I'd take the studio. And yes, just for the attached outdoor space. Plus I live alone and there's not any reason to have all that space in the 2 bedroom. I had the studio decorated to my liking before you even started to the 2 bedroom. Lol. I'd probably have a little bit of a problem not having the in apartment laundry, but the outside space would make up for it. Both of these places offer an efficient use of space and love all the natural light from the big windows. Another great neighborhood as well. And that park!!! What a gem.
Being single, I'd take the Studio. I don't need all that extra space and I wouldn't want a roommate. The outdoor door space is what also makes that a winner. I'd throw either a single bed over near that closet. or probably have a sectional with a chaise on one side that folds out into a bed. That's a really nice bldg and I have to say, if I were moving to NYC to work. I'd most def hit this place up. Like you said, you walk out the door, you have transportation, grocery store, drug store and restaurants. What more could a person ask for. Whoever developed this property put a lot of thought into it. The area is perfect, and I think the design is very well done.
It all depends on what you are looking for. The studio if it was just one person and the two bedroom for a couple. Both look very nice! Even though there's no medicine cabinet, both bathrooms look like you could put a little more storage in there, a shelf or something. Great job, Cash!
Studio! Luv the studio! No Med cabinet is not a problem with a spacious, clean, new bathroom including storage under the sink & room to add more. Also, the clothes closet, although not a walk in is quite large!
I used to live in Astoria and the subways are terrible on weekends. Always re routed due to repairs that we were forced to take cabs ugh. We call the N R W, Never Rarely Whenever trains LOL.
I have like three outfits and I'm cool with no medicine cabinet if I could just have that terrace! That studio would be perfect since I'm pretty minimalistic! (Cries in poor!😭)
To be honest it would be the two bedrooms apartment. I like the space. The studio is nice but I wouldn't use the balcony because I am afraid of heights. It would be silly of me to pay for real estate for something I wouldn't be using.
Couldn't agree with you more - also afraid of heights. I grew up in an apt with a terrance - never set foot on it (didn't help that we were on the 31st floor) 🤢.
@@christined.5265 Hi Christine. Oh my God. Sorry that would kill me living up that high. My fear of hight exponentially getting worse as I get older. I know they say home is where the heart is but it would be nice to be able to look out the windows. I now live on the ground floor I have never lived any higher than the first floor.
The studio is my choice. WOW, what a great outdoor patio space. AND, I could live by myself....which is a big plus for me. With a little help from my interior design friends, transforming the studio to its maximum potential with area dividers would be fun to do. Definitely, pick the studio. Great video, Cash. Any plans for future videos discussing the best way to negotiate a favorable amount of rent during the downturn in the residential rental market? Trends that you're seeing? Recs?
Both apartments are amazing. But, for me it’s the studio. That terrace can be a decorated with beautiful outdoor furniture and a round table. A tv on a rolling cart and a portable bartop table. Both can be moved indoors when the weather is not nice. With a heater and/or fan, that can be an instant living area with a fantastic view!
The 2BR - no question (and that's before I saw the in-unit W/D). Must have space. I will give the studio points for the terrace. It's large enough that even someone afraid of heights (me!!!) would be okay stepping out on it.
I would go for the studio just because of the fantastic outdoor space.
yeah its incredible

You betcha! i saw a place today with 2 medicine cabinets in the same bathroom. Cant wait to make the video
I'm not digging that studio. While the terrace is nice, it doesn't make up for the lack of space. 2 bedroom is nice, but I wish it had a terrace.
Yeah its a tough battle here! Neither is perfect
I’m starting to look forward to the point in the videos where you get recognized on the street. 😄
Hah me 2 its happening a lot now
You do such a great job on these.
Hey thanks appreciate it
I like the first one best. Great balcony !
Yeah super rare to see places like this
I absolutely love the two-bedroom apartment, it's the best value. They're practically giving it away for free. 🤣
yeah 3200 so CHEAP for that nice spot
I’d take the studio for the outdoor space alone!!! Very nice!
Yeah that studio is dope
Cash I love your videos! Hoping to move to NYC in a year or two and your videos get me so excited :)
cool i hope you can make it!
Tough to beat that outdoor space!
The 2BR - no question (and that's before I saw the in-unit W/D). Must have space.
I will give the studio points for the terrace. It's large enough that even someone afraid of heights (me!!!) would be okay stepping out on it.
Yep the 2br is the more practical choice
