I haven’t been able to get a siren tone out of mine, just a sound through the speaker when the box is powering up. Any suggestions as to what I can try? I have the positive for the speaker going into the speaker label on the back of the siren box and the negative going to the common label on the back of the siren box. The unit powers on but I can’t get the siren to work.
@@ep-ou7sc thanks! I won't be using the horn ring transfer function, or the park kill functions as currently our older boxes weren't wired up for those features. But I will be using the lighting function for our light ars and auxiliary lights. Do you think I need power to those outputs as well for testing purposes? Also, did you have to do some things for the dip switches?
Did you have to connect the ignition wire? In the manual it mentioned that if it does not detect ignition the tones will not sound. No dice on the siren tones yet so far
Sounds like I’m in a alley
In Portugal we use this siren a lot I didn't know the name of if I just knew it was either from Code 3 or Federal Signal. Great demonstration!
Glad I answered a question you didn't know you needed answered lol
@@ep-ou7sc Yes 😂😂
As I watch this video, I hear almost the same sounding siren IRL lol

Hmm you may need to give power to all the outputs. You need the SPK and common for speaker. They are the 2 side by side next to "tone"

@@musicman12347 more than likely so everything has power. Just easier to hook it all up at test
@@ep-ou7sc makes sense. Especially since it has the two indicators on the front for lights and siren. Thanks for the help!
@@musicman12347 yup!!! Absolutely

Yes the ignition wire must be on to get siren tones
@@ep-ou7sc do you connect it to pos 12v to the battery?
@@musicman12347 that's correct!
@@ep-ou7sc thank you so much! I finally got everything to work on the box properly!!!

Are these siren affordable
Actually very! With built in Slide switch 3 park kill! It's actually one of the most user friendly basic sirens I've ever installed
They can be purchased from Code 3 Complete
