I've been waiting to see this demonstration & I can't wait for my goodies to arrive! This is my first time getting in on the Lawn Fawn pre order & I'm so excited for them! I made a double slider through another tutorial & when I saw this double slider die, I knew it would make the process soooo much easier. Thanks Kelly! 🙌
OMG, it took me 5 tries to make one of these cards. First problem was getting a plastic bag that was the right thickness to slide and not tear. Some bags were too heavy, some too thin. I finally had to go out and buy poop bags. Fortunately, they were deeply discounted because they were Christmas themed and it was after the holidays. Then there was the problem of not letting the panels shift and get stuck to the double-sided tape as I was closing everything up. But I persevered and finally completed a fully functioning double-slider card. whew!
Seriously I think this is going to become my favorite interactive die! I love the surprise element this die adds! Great job coming up with these genius interactive products Lawn Fawn!...by the way, thank you for this video, the instructions are very clear and your creations are super cute!

I was eagerly waiting for this video. I learned how to make double sliders a decade ago when I started stamping and I was wondering if we had inovated on the plastic bag band… It looks like the secret ingredient has not changed! ;P I'm happy to now have the dies to create the slider, though. This die set is on my shopping list!
The small circle is for adding a hole to the pull-tab options to tie a ribbon or twine through and the double circle is for reinforcing the hole and to give more design possibilities. Thanks so much for the question :)

I've made two so far and both of them I'm having trouble getting the sliders to go in evenly. One side seems to stick out every time just a little when the other side goes in just fine.. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? thank you for any help on this...

I just had a thought! When you attach your first panel to the bag and you line up the right edge of the panel with the rightmost edge of the track, make sure that stays lined up when you flip it over and add the panel to the back. Make sure to line up the left side of the back panel with the leftmost side of the track. That should keep them lined up :) Let me know if that fixes it! :)

I really like the concept, but it's small for someone who makes A7 cards. All the small products on the market are disappointing to those of us who want to make a bigger impact with their arts & crafts. I suppose I could stick this to the front of a larger card to get the same look.

lawnfawn I have more lawn Fawn ink then distress inks lol the last card you made couldn’t you use the simple gift card slot die? Xx
If you use the slot die on the panel, it makes it a bit weaker, so it doesn't slide quite as well. It is worth a try, though! :)

I appreciate this die set, but it’s not a new idea. It’s been done for years and there are tutorials on UA-cam.
