I'm so glad to see this. I wondered about this after my state was taken over by communists, but not a soul in the "gun community" knew of it and the handful of videos were old. My shooting range has just brought out a Taipan, so we'll see.
How do you find yours cycles while live firing? I just got mine last fall and put about 200 rounds through it so far. The pump is very smooth when the gun is empty but when cycling rounds through it I find it takes more force than your average pump shotgun.
I haven't noticed it was much harder than any other pump action I've used. We're planning on doing more range reviews as soon as we find a local range than will let us shoot long guns at longer ranges.
I’m assuming you’ve looked at your eljcted brass, the crimping of the feed port is the extra perceived effort.. and really the downside of this rifle in that you can’t recover brass for reloading.
Really appreciate the input! Haven't had much experience with AR15s and given where I live right now, it doesn't look like I will anytime soon ... unless the SCOTUS helps out a bit by reversing the current ban.
@@DaGunGuy No problem. Something I noticed that I didn’t previously know when I first started messing around with AR-15’s. My first experience was actually after putting a build together lol. I live in Commiefornia so I went the featureless route to retain the use of the magazine release. I guess you can look at the AR like a 1911 in like it’s a single action type of thing.

Very nice rifle! The one thing I don't get, though, is why Troy didn't go for an M-Lok handguard instead of what you have here.
Do you have problems with rounds getting stuck?
Nope. But you I do work the action vigorously.

@@DaGunGuy Interesting. I guess I’ll see if mine breaks in. Looking forward to your reviews!

@@BurmaJ I don’t reload so I haven’t looked but I’ve heard the PAR messes up the case.
Yes. The hammer on a semiautomatic ar-15 has to be set in order to engage the safety.

Is it a regular lower?
It will not work with an AR upper. The lower is cut differently. 👍
Will ar-15 sights work for this gun?
They do.
