The strat I use at the start of the game is much more consistent, and since I'm at a live marathon and need to get it right the first time, I do the safer stuff.
Hey there! Great playthrough Just a little question: how did you make a Printworks replay but at the same time keep your previous Mansion replay(which you used later to warp)?
Take a look at 46:41, that's where I play the replay of the mansion save icon. Because I'm not in Starfish Island, I don't get warped, but the next time I'm in Starfish Island (the end of the game), it will activate
@@kzfrew Oh my God! I only now got it, so later in the run, where you do get warped, you don't actually replay that replay, it just warps you because you went into the save a while back(in the replay) but you weren't actually in the area back then. Thank you so much! Finally got it!
Hey Frew! I want to start GTA speed running too especially vice city, I want to know your display settings and keybindings, because I cant reverse cars whenever i have framelimiter off and when i do it is capped at 25 - 30 fps. Thanks

It is no coincidence that GDQ and speedrunning blew up in growth simultaneously. GDQ is the best speedrunning marathon, objectively. It is the largest, most renowned, and raises the most money. As a result, this attracts the most speedrunning talent. GDQ speedrun showcases are, objectively, more skillful and impressive than any other speedrun marathon, so you can't say they "sold out" and "it's about the money" when the show, by and large, is the best speedrunning showcase out there. And yes, fundraising events need money to exist. GDQ needs a business model to do what they do. It wouldn't be possible otherwise. So I have no idea what you mean when you say you can't stand them after "what they did" -- no, GDQ has never banned anyone for swearing. GDQ banned BubblesDelFuego for supplying illegal drugs to another attendee of the event, causing a public stir, and forcing their hand. GDQ did not ban Bonesaw, he was never banned, just told that his runs wouldn't be accepted for a year. He continues to dodge the question about what happened, so we'll never really know. GDQ banned RWhiteGoose for being a literal piece of shit -- a detail that Apollo Legend conveniently left out of his video, which is no surprise because Apollo Legend is a hack that spreads misinformation for his benefit. GDQ by law must be apolitical, hence not allowing the MAGA hat on stream. No, GDQ never sees any of the donations themselves, you donate directly to the charity's PayPal. Unsurprisingly, GDQ works exactly the same way any other fundraiser event works.
