I don't think there is a specific term for it, but my two main discoveries in how to get that tone were to use a Darkglass bass distortion and to mic up a speaker or at least use a speaker simulation. Your results will vary, given that you likely have a different bass guitar, playing technique and amplifier.
It's just a cheap Millenium DI. I use an XLR female to female cable between the DI and the Darkglass, while then plugging in the send and return of my amp into the two 1/4" jacks. Passive DI boxes work both ways, so I just use it as a merge box for the preamp built into my Ashdown and the external B7K preamp box.
A nice tone if you deep down, really, REALLY, wish you just had a flat ass Fender that disappears into the mix.
10" woofer was the winner for me!!!
Same here actually.
What’s the tone called at 0:46 I trying to look how to get it but don’t know what’s it called

How do you plug in your Darkglass B7K and your Send Amp at the same time on a single channel of your Passive DI ? What Passive DI do you use ?

That bass is huge, how long is it?
It's about 120cm.
What pedals are you running?
A Darkglass B7K and a noise gate. Plus a volume booster to annoy guitar players.
When you can finally be haired.
