Lowest I Have Seen Blackwater Falls

A return trip to Blackwater Falls was in store to see how the dry weather impacted the falls. This is the lowest I have seen this waterfall. It is still beautiful but the dry weather has definitely impacted it. #westvirginia #blackwaterfalls

Been dry. Hope the State Fair starts soon so we can get some rain

Fairs are usually good for bringing rain. Hopefully we will get some soon.

I saw a post the other day from a meteorologist that covers the eastern part of West Virginia and she made a reference to 1998-1999. Im 55 and it's one of the driest summers that I can remember.
