Good morning from Cyprus! My dear Afshin, Thank you for sharing another video! You know, there is a false belief and in some cases a demand towards our Father in Heaven to hear our prayers with an intention to fulfill our will. And if our selfish will is not done, then we create a bunch of beliefs against our Father! And from these false beliefs we start asking false questions, which we falsely and selfishly answer our own way of thinking and these answers lead us to establish the false beliefs deep in our hearts! And we end up doing circles, repeating toxic behaviour patterns! Our lips speak the prayer, but without understanding when we ask our Father "your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven". We do not understand when we ask our Father "forgive us our depts as we forgave our deptors". What does it take for us to realize that it's not our will that comes first? What does it take for us to realize that it is when we forgive that we are forgiven? What does it take for us to understand that it is when we give we become rich in our Father's eyes? @@WAHRHENDAHRSTEIN you need a breakthrough in the mind and soul. Have you gone through tough moments in the past/in your childhood: rejection, scolding, bullying, harsh and breaking words, abuse the list goes on. You have to keep praying to Jesus for a breakthrough. It takes time, God will help you, but when opportunities for you to grow knock on, don't shun it. Just keep pressing on, your time of complete deliverance will come. Mine is over the years. It took me a long time.

In practical terms, how do we glorify Jesus in a situation where someone looks to slander and hurt us whenever possible in our work place? They are jealous and insecure and I forgive them but my behavior has been human in response because I am broken. I first will stop my behavior and give the situation to God in prayer. But how then I glorify him? I will ask for the prayers of St. Nectarious who was ferociously slandered and wrongfully treated. I am Orthodox brother, you and I have different paths but I know God uses all things for good and as he sees fit. Your stories help. Glory to God for all things.

@@theafshinjavid I'm very confused on something. How do we know if we are doing and living for God because we love him, or are we doing his word for ourselves just for salvation. They both seem to be one in the same to me. Doing his path seems to be self serving as it's the only true way, but then are we not loving God? Confused.
We as human in nature, we all have flaws, weaknesses and are full of sins. It's not easy to remain peaceful when others belittle us and most of times we are tempted to seek justice by throwing responsibility to others, or by saying l am right and you are wrong... Saint Nectarios is one of those bright examples receiving bitterness from others! Our beloved Jesus received so much rejection! Narrow is the path leading to salvation, full of pain and brokeness! But what Best opportunities would our Father give us in order to test our faith and reform our hearts making it gold? Nothing is gained in short cuts... Every time we seek justice it could be sign of hidden pride, ego that needs to be beaten up by such opportunities we meet in work place or else where so that we humble ourselves and live with humility. Every time we react against another, or espress anger we hurt ourselves and others. So, both lose! Jesus didn't do diplomacy with Pontius Pilot or Kaiaphas when he was questioned before crusifixion.... Would be also helpful reading books of saint Lucas of Krimea, or Saint Chrysostomos, or Holy Fathers from the Holy Mount of Athos in Greece. Could help getting the context of living faith, experiencing our beloved Father from within. Orthodoxy is not different from what Afshin is sharing, we rather lost the core of what Orthodoxy truly is! Look at us! We have become lukewarm and it's shame... It's not about different path at all! Jesus will never ask us if we are of the Catholic, or Orthodox! Do we get the Word of Jesus? Do we live with His Word? Are we followers no matter the sacrifice it takes? Do we think as Orthodox we are saved and others will be left out? Not at all!!! Afshin has been for me the wake up call, the revival of Holy Gospel! Where are priests? They conform, remain silent, go with the flow of this evil agenda and leave their sheep astray.. I do not judge, l state facts and I pray for all to wake up and be deciples of our Lord Jesus, not just lukewarm believers!
Do you know the reason why you were being targetted? You may consider to take this issue up to your Human Resource dept to see if that person have breached workplace conduct. Get the HR to provide you with clearer boundary, and try as you can to record instances of misconduct and discuss it with your HR. Try not to have direct confrontation with that person. Be unoffendable, this is key. Be prayerful and continue to believe in Jesus. I pray that God will give you His peace and wisdom for you to handle your emotions and to put an hedge of protection around you against unjust lips. May Holy Spirit guide your steps in mamaging your work and colleagues, and encourage you as you are seeking to glorify God's name in yr workplace. In practical terms, how do we glorify Jesus in a situation where someone looks to slander and hurt us whenever possible in our work place? They are jealous and insecure and I forgive them but my behavior has been human in response because I am broken. I first will stop my behavior and give the situation to God in prayer. But how then I glorify him? I will ask for the prayers of St. Nectarious who was ferociously slandered and wrongfully treated. I am Orthodox brother, you and I have different paths but I know God uses all things for good and as he sees fit. Your stories help. Glory to God for all things.

@@theafshinjavid I'm very confused on something. How do we know if we are doing and living for God because we love him, or are we doing his word for ourselves just for salvation. They both seem to be one in the same to me. Doing his path seems to be self serving as it's the only true way, but then are we not loving God? Confused.
We as human in nature, we all have flaws, weaknesses and are full of sins. It's not easy to remain peaceful when others belittle us and most of times we are tempted to seek justice by throwing responsibility to others, or by saying l am right and you are wrong... Saint Nectarios is one of those bright examples receiving bitterness from others! Our beloved Jesus received so much rejection! Narrow is the path leading to salvation, full of pain and brokeness! But what Best opportunities would our Father give us in order to test our faith and reform our hearts making it gold? Nothing is gained in short cuts...
Every time we seek justice it could be sign of hidden pride, ego that needs to be beaten up by such opportunities we meet in work place or else where so that we humble ourselves and live with humility. Every time we react against another, or espress anger we hurt ourselves and others. So, both lose! Jesus didn't do diplomacy with Pontius Pilot or Kaiaphas when he was questioned before crusifixion....
Would be also helpful reading books of saint Lucas of Krimea, or Saint Chrysostomos, or Holy Fathers from the Holy Mount of Athos in Greece. Could help getting the context of living faith, experiencing our beloved Father from within. Orthodoxy is not different from what Afshin is sharing, we rather lost the core of what Orthodoxy truly is! Look at us! We have become lukewarm and it's shame... It's not about different path at all! Jesus will never ask us if we are of the Catholic, or Orthodox! Do we get the Word of Jesus? Do we live with His Word? Are we followers no matter the sacrifice it takes? Do we think as Orthodox we are saved and others will be left out? Not at all!!! Afshin has been for me the wake up call, the revival of Holy Gospel! Where are priests? They conform, remain silent, go with the flow of this evil agenda and leave their sheep astray.. I do not judge, l state facts and I pray for all to wake up and be deciples of our Lord Jesus, not just lukewarm believers!
Do you know the reason why you were being targetted?
You may consider to take this issue up to your Human Resource dept to see if that person have breached workplace conduct.
Get the HR to provide you with clearer boundary, and try as you can to record instances of misconduct and discuss it with your HR.
Try not to have direct confrontation with that person. Be unoffendable, this is key. Be prayerful and continue to believe in Jesus.
I pray that God will give you His peace and wisdom for you to handle your emotions and to put an hedge of protection around you against unjust lips. May Holy Spirit guide your steps in mamaging your work and colleagues, and encourage you as you are seeking to glorify God's name in yr workplace. May the love of Christ fills you and give you comfort every single day. In the name of Jesus, amen.

My mind was Opened up when you come up and speak about Abraham and Ismael, But I am still looking for the truth of Ephraim where are they now? because the scriptures that I am reading spoken by the Prophet Isaiah that they are living in the desert but today is Desert valley means in the middle east. because in the Scriptures say" in the last Ephraim and Manasseh will feed together" They will know each other. Ephraim was describe that they live in the Valley of the Desert but for Manasseh they that covers that Mountain. so I believe Ephraim was still clothes in the covering of Muslim because I know and you know that this veil was adopted from Abraham's custom and I know that some descendant of Abraham seed or offspring still had this veil in their head. apostle Paul has this teaching to show Holiness of God. so I believe you them
