She deserve the Debbue award..she won
It's not her debut movie.
The whole movie is not in her Shoulder. Total movie journey shows how a struggling women Zenat teaches another one I. E. Meera, The movie is completely stands on Gul Panag's strong dialogues through searching of her husband s life by receiving only a mercy. Meeras dance over sand is really Appreatiave.

This movie was remake , the original Malayalam one already got national award , that's why this movie didn't get any national award , usually the authorities don't give award for same stories but i think they must have given award to the actress she had performed her role amazingly

What an awesome movie...that cuts across barriers such as religion ,typecast traditions and renews meaningful friendship and forgiveness.The hand that Zeenat eventually extends is a hand of acceptance of friends of differing backgrounds but the human nature of compassion and genuine love.It is sad that such movies do not win awards ...and if I had the powers the director would have had a gold medal.Thank you Mr. Nagesh Kuknoor for such a sweet experience.

Bollywood filmmaking at its best! Even though it's a remake of a Malyalam film. But, setting this story in Rajasthan nd centring the plot between two woman makes this adaptation unique. Nhi to aaj kal director scenes copy paste karte hai remake banate samay.

The moment when ayesha is handing over the maafinama to zeenat is so touching. It has two strong emotions at the same time - ayesha has satisfaction on her face of forgiveness and zeenat has great sense of relief on her face. I could barely hold my tears at that moment.

Was casually watching older seasons of *"Koffee with Karan"* on Hotstar, In the S2E2 when KJo asked PC during her rapid fire name a film that is a *"little known masterpiece"* & as soon as she said *"Dor"* , even KJo was like, "absolutely, I completely agree"
I thought what was in the movie that they both liked so much. Though YT recommended this multiple times to me but still I avoided watching it & today I watched this & my god what a movie it is, Hell yeah even I agree to KJo & PC that this movie is absolutely masterpiece.
I feel after so long I have watched a good Bollywood movie. Like wow man. Gul panag & Ayesha both nailed the characters of Zeenat & Meera also loved the special role of Shreyas Talpade.
I must say *"Dor"* makes a strong feminist statement without being strident or shouting slogans. 🧡
