  • If you've lost a loved one, feel lost or ashamed, or you have a hard time forgiving yourself, you need to listen to Jeff's story. Start with part 1 and then listen to 2 and very importantly you need to listen to part 3 where Jeff answers some very meaningful questions. I think his story will be life-changing for some of you.
Part one: • #9 This NDE will Chang...
    Part two: • #10 Jeff Olsen's Encou...
Part three • #11 Our loved Ones Liv...
Jeff Olsen is a number one international best-selling author who inspires audiences globally with his intriguing story of perseverance and inner strength. After a horrific automobile accident took the lives of his wife and youngest son, also inflicting multiple life-threatening injuries to Jeff (including the amputation of his left leg) he found the courage to survive over 18 surgeries and eventually heal both physically and emotionally.
At the time of his accident, Olsen had incredible Out-of-Body and Near-Death Experiences, bringing him insights not common in today’s world. Jeff has integrated these experiences into everyday life, inspiring others to embrace the beauty around them and choose joy in all they do.
Olsen’s latest book, WHERE ARE YOU? is a collaboration with his oldest son Spencer, who also survived the accident at the age of seven. They have captured in a simple and powerful way their healing journey through the innocent perspective of that seven year old child. “Where Are You?” is a heartfelt book for all ages and perfect for anybody who misses someone.
Among Jeff’s many accomplishments, he is most fulfilled by simply being a husband, father and friend.

    WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! 😊😊
You just said something Jeff , That hit home with so much TRUTH my friend..
Your first wife said to you, that she could only be as happy as you were..
I have never thought of it in that way before.. Thank you for sharing that.. Awesome piece of information.. It must be that way with all souls then.. We are all connected by consciousness. So this makes perfect sense.. so this is true for all of our passed loved ones. They are constantly feeling what we feel every second of each day... Amazing!!
I was taught that if you always cry and miss a loved one who passed, They will always be bound here by your feelings.
Never allowed to be free until you pass away and finally learn the truth of how we are connected by our thoughts and feelings.
I was taught to say a prayer.. Say your temporary goodbyes and let them come and go as they choose. They're always with us anyway. But dont chain them to the earth plain by your daily sorrow..
Be happy for the time you were allowed to be together here at that time.. In a physical body..
Loved your story. Im so happy for you now. God be with us always 🙏🙏🙏🏆❤️❤️💯💯

Always listen to that inner voice we all have it. His wife didnt know she was going to die but she listened to that voice that said to hug her parents 1 more time. I have had this voice 3 times in my life. Twice i wish i had listened the 3rd time i did and im so thankful. 1st time i felt compelled to go to my uncles at 10 at night and i shook it off and didnt go. He killes his self that night, the 2nd i had spoke to my mom at 10 pm but felt i should call and tell her i love her 1 more time and i thought no she is in bed its midnight thats silly ill see her tomorrow..she had a heart attack and died instantly around 11pm to 1 am the estimated. Always wonder if i had just called would i have known something was wrong. The 3rd that same voice said better tell your aunt goodbye 1 more time.. after getting in my car i got back out and got to tell her 1 more time. She died , stroke 5 days later. Never ignore that feeling... i wish i hadnt but it was just meant to be the way it went.

I also had one of those visitation dreams from my father who died years before. I had just experienced the beginning of a spiritual awakening a few months before, and it felt very frightening and lonely for me. I realized that nothing here is what it seems. It was magnificent and life changing, but so lonely because I didn’t know anyone who went through what I did. All my loved ones thought I had gone crazy and my husband could not understand (at the time). I asked my newly- discovered spirit guide to please ease my anxiety so I could sleep. I fell to sleep and my dad came to me and hugged me and told me I “was on the right track” and so much more! It was more real than this life and I have felt at peace since then.

I had an epiphany of sorts, about forgiveness. God doesn't 'forgive' because his love is unconditional = which is why there is nothing to forgive. It makes such sense, when you think about LOVE being unconditional. We are loved without any conditions. And if we are truly loved, then there is nothing we can do that requires God to forgive us. Forgiving yourself is for your benefit. Forgiving others is for your benefit. We often feel guilty for things we've said or done, and sometimes we hang on to that guilt. Guilt serves no good purpose. Forgiving ourselves allows us to move on, out of the prison we've made for ourselves. In the same sense, forgiving others also sets us free. 💞

What l think is that most of us - human " self love " we interpret wrong way thinking that only narcissists, selfish people are able to love themself which is a wrong way. That's why we don't want to be seen a bad person , often we " torture " our minde and as an unfortunate result also our body ( a physical and mental pain ) and we are living in a constant stress, guilt , and feare. Thank you both for sharing your conversation and wize, comforting words.

I think its fairly easy to forgive yourself for some wrong things we are doing almost every day without much of our conscience or not much of our choice, but it's different and not so easy to forgive someone who has hurt you in profound ways. This is a real "art" of forgiveness

This is profound! I came to connect with Jesus Christ through ACIM. That is exactly what He says, You heal yourself by choosing to heal your mind form guilt, suffering and the believe in death. He says that God's Will for us is perfect happiness and that we wake up to His profound love for us and to our eternal innocence and that we can choose differently!

It so wonderful to hear others talk about their experiences it helps me confirm my own. My mind is always trying to explain away things that my soul knows to be true. Ik we can pull loved ones to us we are connected to them. I feel my loved ones around me fron time to time. Ive prayed that Jesus only sees the pain i dont want them to see how bad it hurts they are gone because ik i will see them all again. Still doesnt stop the grief that we have to go on in this realm on this earth in this life without them. But Jesus did bless me with a dream i can pull up more clear in my mind than any other memory, but i got to tell my mom good bye when she left this earth at onlg 47 years old.. she was beautiful her hair was perfect her face so young her smile so sweet. Her hug i can still feel that last one in that dream. When your greiving Jesus weeps with us he feels our pain with us he will heal your broken heart just let em. Its as easy as that. All we got to do is ask.

thank you for your this genuine and profound podcast interview. as far as i understand today, the spiritual person whom we all in reality are is of the same nature as God. thus we ARE him in the sense of quality (although not fully) but never in quantity. we are divine yet we are never the divinity. it is the original soul who is the origin and the maintainer and the provider for all others (us) in existence. our relationship with God then, is one of mutual pure loving servitorship. if the element of eternal individual personality is removed from the equation, love cannot exist. this i have learned from studying , among other texts, bhagavad-gita as it is, an in depth ancient revelation of spiritual knowledge. thank you.

The big question why all Whom had NDE have books written and selling?

    • @Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch
      @Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch  29 днів тому +2

Many don’t. It’s that you hear about the ones that do. Many NDEre were asked by God to spread the word - writing books is one ways they are doing that. In fact God specifically told some of them to write books. Others write because they went through a lot of trauma and it is cathartic to put it on paper and share it. Most of these people still freely share what they learned on podcasts like mine and other places. No one I’ve interviewed has ever asked me to mention their book, website or business but I do it as a curtesy. I often mention I enjoyed their book because I did enjoy it! Also, a common misconception is that authors make a lot of money. Most don’t make very much at all. I hope that answers your question.

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law... 36. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household... 37. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me... 38. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me... 39. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. End Quote.*

You can’t know if someone is genuine and I don’t believe his story is. Maybe he has convinced himself that some of these experiences are genuine. At best he is highly embellishing. I’m really shocked by everyone’s gullibility. I can see his wheels turning quickly as he makes details up on the spot as you ask questions. Have you read Visions of Glory by John Pontius? I suppose technically I am an Atheist. The REAL description would be I don't believe in "the god of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob"..that doesn't mean I don't "think" there is a life after death. I have been reading and listening to NDR stories since I was a young teen. It is very hard to dismiss these stories offhand. I have known people that said they had these experiences and I have no reason to doubt them. That leaves me with some interesting questions.
How can we "justify" the horrors of this world? I mean.....how can "God" allow the SA, torture, and death of a young child?
Or the horror of this guy's experience? The horrors of war? What is the purpose? God "experiencing" himself? Doesn't God already know all this stuff? If we "are" God then don't we already "know" this stuff?
Is this entertainment? I mean not just for "God" but for us too? Is it for contrast? Is it so we appreciate "heaven/home" more? I mean how are we supposed to understand Joy if we don't know misery? If we already know the answers then why are we here? Why would anyone "choose" to be born in the Favela knowing how miserable that would be? Why would someone agree to be born a female knowing that at some point they would be r@ped, tortured, and murdered? Why? Why was I born to wonder about these questions and not have answers? A friend once told me...." you have paralysis from analysis.." Hey, it's me.Sorry for the long rant.

I think all of your thoughts and questions are valid. I believe that we are here to learn and it seems like that is why we suffer. Many of my guests have addressed this. Even so it is a hard concept to grasp in my human mind but I believe it will be clear to me when I go home someday. Also, you don’t have to be an atheist because you reject religion. God is much bigger than religion. I think a lot of people who reject God are really rejecting what man has projected on to God. Stay curious my friend. Best wishes.

@@Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch Thank you for your thoughtful response. I know people who have had these experiences find it hard to explain. I get that. I also think that one day it will be clear again. That is why I don't really stress myself about it. If we already, either are God, or we are part of "God" then we already have access to this information. That begs the question what is there to "learn"? I suppose that leaves the possibility that we are on a "vacation". We are on a 'pretend' play-ground. Maybe, after the play is over, and the cast get together for a party you find out that the whole thing was for you. 'Yeah we have been working on this for about a Billion years, and finally got it going a couple of Million years ago. I hope you had fun. '😂

@bruscifer I wanted to chime in - I had very severe childhood abuse and also a head injury at 2 years old and 17 years old. I have suffered A LOT. People like to put the positive spin on things, but the truth is there are horrendously ugly things about this world. That is why it was hard for me to come back from my out of body. I was depressed for a few days after. I do not subscribe to the learning crap. I am sorry, that may be the case, but that thought process does not help me. Do I learn? Yes. But I do not consider my suffering some cosmic lesson. That felt more torturous. I have also had an out of body experience and profound experiences with a divine presence in the last 2 years that was a being of love so palpable and so real and beyond this world. I do not know all the why's and for me, I try and stay away from them....there is more I could say, but I just focus on what is functionally healthy and helpful for me. I have always been sensitive to the unseen world, but felt that I suppressed it because of what our world is. Now I'm not, and I am learning that people use the advanced sense for very practical reasons (look up "practical dowsing" in an alternative search engine- it might be fascinating)- I feel strongly about not denying the body and physicality here, as well as our soul aspect.

It drives me a little nuts when people refer to God as he. If anything God is a she, but obviously, it's ("we're) beyond any type of gender classification. I suppose I should just chuckle as you hear that Divine beings do when they're asked ignorant questions by human beings that are having nde experiences, not to imply that I possess even a tiny fraction of the knowledge, wisdom or insight of those beings. Then again, in "Ultimate Reality " I am those beings.

Thanks for sharing but I don’t believe that “your soul came here to experience what it did.” I’m a Christian, so that sounds like New Age talk to me. You likely imagined that when standing at her grave.
We don’t have to go through “thousands of lifetimes before we merge with God.” That’s a Hindu belief.
When you know Jesus, you come to realize that God loves us and gives us a lifetime here on this earth, before we go to heaven to spend eternity with him, beyond this space/time 3-D realm.
God is our creator, and we are the CREATED, and we are not going to eventually “become God.” WE WILL NEVER BE GOD. We will always be the “created.”
This interviewer uses lead-in questions and you can tell that her belief system is definitely new age, not Christian.
These New Age beliefs don’t come from Jesus, but rather from a lot of entities in the astral plane that are lower dimension beings who don’t know anything about Jesus or His philosophy to love one another or to love God.

Religion was written by man and manipulated and is filled with dogma, you do realise at one point religion ruled the world, anybody who rules the world wants power and control and religion used fear to capture people by creating hell. So people obey and neel down and beg for forgiveness, I’ve listened to thousands of ndes and they all share simular experiences and most turn to spirituality rather then a religion, not dismissing your beliefs tho as you did his experiences, I just trust those that have past and had the experience then a guy that preaches and tells you your going hell if you don’t ask for forgiveness or you make the bad decisions, from ndes it’s all experience and you choose your life, good and bad to experience. You can’t know love without the hate, you can’t enjoy the sunshine without experiencing the rain. Religion is on the right track but I feel somone down the line manipulated and changed it to inflict control. That’s why most people are turning to spirituality, it makes sence and we don’t have to say god works in mysterious ways, we simply say it’s all love and it was the experience you needed to grow and evolve your soul, and that could be a traumatising experience, could be war but I feel the bad happens in the wild such as war because life has a ripple effect and in order for a new world, the old would will have to end. Not literally but the system will have to go down in order for change
