As I heard this, it’s possible that when it mentions “dry, waterless places” it’s possible that it’s referring to Jesus being the water/ our water; how and if we’re adorned in truth. But if it’s dry, referring to the water or Jesus and wisdom then we are susceptible to the opposer. Would love everyone’s opinion on this.
This is great. I'm barely getting to re-known Jesus Christ. As I understand, Jesus was in the celestial sign of Pisces, the fish. Fish live in water so I believe this makes sense
it's not literal it means when the evil spirit leaves you, you are supposed to hold on to God, if you don't them it would come back because you can't overcome the evil one without God
Understand that the room was clean and tidy but it was empty. If we clean our bodies but keep them empty we can become vessels for the devil. But if we fill our hearts with Christ no spirit can enter our hearts
@@minetime6881 This passage can be better understood by reading pauls verse where he tells us that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. The book of revelations tells us that Jesus stands at the door and knocks at it, only if I open it then will He enter. Like wise the Spirit can enter your temple aka your body only if you allow it. Cleaning of the body refers to cleaning of your mind ans soul and devoting it towards God. But before cleaning the temple you need to get the trash out. Only Jesus can get the trash out. After Jesus saves you from your sin, your body is now clean and empty. If you now accept Jesus into your heart then it'll be a temple of the Holy Ghost. On the other hand, demonic spirits do not knock but enter into an empty temple wherever it finds one. That's why sometimes Christians backslide because even though Jesus casted their sin out and emptied their temple they did not accept the Holy Spirit into it. Giving satan an opportunity to do his will.
