How it started: we are cool space ninjas, fighting against the corpus and grineer How is going: so i killed about 500 demonic visages from beyond reality, but might have to do it again since they didnt dropped what i wanted
The music team continues to knock it out of the park. I thought the Undercroft and the Zariman combat music was peak but now there's this. One of those tracks where I could never get sick of hearing it
I love the grandiose melody that gives imagery of the vastness of space, and the equally melodic chanting that makes up its vocals. The song gives the imagery of an endless army on the march, which though fragmented into many, serve the will of a single mind; a fitting image for the Footsoldiers of the Indifference. God, I can’t imagine how good the Infested’s music would sound if they had the same mindset as with the Murmur. That shit would slap no matter what they did.
I love how unsettling this track is. Really gives a feel of facing forces of the unknown. Makes it all quite terrifying and I am loving the atmosphere both the music and the writing of this new area have, really does add to the already horrific effects the void has on everything.
For real. Feels like a real ‘behind our understanding’ than most games are able to pull of with their ‘unknowable’ foes, and we have a whole name for our villain!
@@ShardofManus The story ended kinda like the Apostasy Prologue and left the player thirsting for more Hopefully 1999 doesn't take forever to come out because I'm thirsty over here!
@@ShardofManus This easily became my favorite faction, I hope in further updates they introduce different factions or at least enemies that differ from what we usually deal with in the rest of the game
Its super cool! I love that the game started out with a simple Naga drum beat as an occasional background sound while playing, and drums are still prevalent in most of the best tracks.
All Pure Void tracks (Circuit, Zariman) have almost the same beat with the same synth (maybe the same, untrained ear here). Chorus is inherited from Orokin theme. Sitar as a mainstay should pretty much treated as Albrecht's signature
Take the old orokin song, add throat singing and u got void song, kinda like Siberian, patagonian, skimo and actually a lot of real life culture have that music vibe.
0:44-1:10 is my fav part! First time hearing it in mission and it just gave me shiver. Wish they repeat that somewhere in it and make it more intense!.
It kinda has a tension that reminds me of the track used for Aquisition in Vow of the Disciple. The tracks name is drown in the deep. (That's me assuming you don't play destiny, which there is a more than 0% chance that someone does.)
Its about time we started to face Wally. Hes been hounding us since before the story even began. Time to avenge Rell and Albrecht. Time to put the boogeyman back in the closet. We aren't afraid anymore
Not afraid anymore? Speak for yourself. The void created The Fragmented One and from what I understood that is possibly only a tiny fraction of what it is capable of 😂
Avenge Albrecht? Why would you do that? Everything that happened to him, he brought on himself. Now he gets to live with the consequences. Edit: This came out way more aggressive than intended, for which I apologize, but my point stands. Man fucked around for personal glory and found out. He got exactly what he wanted. It's his own damn fault if he didn't like the results.
This is by far my favourite update for Warframe. The OST, the buildup to the next update is a lot better than the current transition between Lightfall and Final Shape.
it feels like the recording here cuts off a bit early? The recording of the Tennocon teaser was the same theme (albeit with some crowd noises in the background thanks to being played at the event) and went a bit longer than this Otherwise great quality and a great theme!
I've made a comment on an older video when this was first heard in tennocon. There are absolutely many instances of void tongue. Such as Xata Ra, Ra Elu, Ris Ra Khra (or Ka) Ris, and some i can't make out
There is another Murmur combat song which isn't listed here. Or at least, I couldn't find the proper video. It is also a battle song whereas the male singer cries out during the song. What is that song's name?
Damn, this track reminds me A LOT of Kusari Combat music from Freelancer: ua-cam.com/video/5MOuYoHn78I/v-deo.html. Namely the first 45 seconds are in the same manner. And I like the string instrument being used here.
The update needed more work, the ending feels like they cut an entire hour of gameplay just so they could deliver in time. But it is overall a good update, the new enemies are interesting and fun to fight.
I dont know, it felt like a good reminder for me about what makes the tenno special. Its not their void powers, or their combat skill, its their ability to show empathy and compassion in a universe so devoid of it.
Zariman is still better for music and design. I think Whispers in the Wall was dope but it works the exact same as Zariman so i hope this isnt something they will just keep doing in the future

Ever since Deadlock Protocol the music in Warframe became quite something.

Wally casually droping the hardest track in the history of Warframe.
while ingame the vocals starting at 0:15 is a layer that i think only occurs when you are in the void areas
Or when the murmur comes for you. When you fight the robots is just melody but when the void spawn the voices enter the song.
