I've recently incorporated the drive volley into my game. It can be intimidating to the opponent and draw errors in subsequent points as they feel they have to go for more on their groundstrokes.
The weather is always great at your place, it must be great to train. The backhand slice on the rise / apex near the net looks to be the riskier to me. I take the option of a big smash down :). Thx for those great tips
I have tried only the first option. I am a beginner and have been trying tennis for 6 months. Will try your other suggestions. Many times I am forced to play the last option when the ball is too fast for me to move around and also hitting the ball in the air before it has a chance to pitch. I have some experience facing them. Now I will have to start with deliberately executing them for the high balls. Thanks for the tips.
I love the swing volley but am too timid to try in a match. The half volley happens when I run out of prep time. I am going to try to incorporate them in my next session.
Been watching your videos from San Francisco, CA. Really great content. Just curious, did you switch away from the Head Extreme? Perhaps an endorsement from Yonex?
Thanks to your videos I have improved so much! Keep them coming 🙏🏼🙏🏼

@@vjayvenkat thanks for your comment! I hope the tips help
My go to is to let the ball drop but I should be more brave and try hitting on the rise or at the apex sometimes
@@Claire-p6m for sure, give it a go 💪🏼

@@andrewlok7664 thanks for your comment! I do usually use the extreme in my videos but generally I use the yonex ezone when I’m training myself :)
