This week I bring you my new song "Flash" inspired by Minato Namikaze (The Yellow Flash). Many of those familiar with my Jairya song "Stand Tall" will notice a similar world with the orchestral pop vibe. I love writing in this world so much I thought it was only necessary for me to revist it, as many have asked for that again.

Minato Namikaze (波風ミナト, Namikaze Minato) was the Fourth Hokage (四代目火影, Yondaime Hokage, Literally meaning: Fourth Fire Shadow) of Konohagakure. He was renowned all over the world for his speed, leading him to be dubbed as Konoha's Yellow Flash (木ノ葉の黄色い閃光, Konoha no Kiiroi Senkō, English TV: Yellow Flash of the Leaf). He died during the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's Attack, sacrificing his life to seal a part of the Nine-Tails into his newborn son, Naruto Uzumaki.

As a father, this and Iroh's song say things I never even knew needed to be put into words, but they encapsulate the feelings flawlessly

As I’m heading to college, I can still hear my parents words of wisdom to me. They both didn’t come from much, but they made it. This song embodies everything that parents stand for. All though, I was also thinking of the series itself with Naruto and Minato's relationship. Even though Naruto was angry with his father, he truly has the utmost respect for him. So, all in all, they were two different paths, but they came together in the end.

Minato is such a well written character, if anyone deserved a best father award, he would be the one recieving it.
"Would you run toward your failures every day, just to prove that nothing's standing in your way?" This is honestly one of the most inspiring lines I've heard. It makes me want to be the kind of person who not only isn't daunted by failure, but who is invigorated by the chance to try again.

I'm a grown ass 35yr old man and this hit hard with feeling, teared up listening to it and not ashamed to admit it. Also as a father the meaning one can pull from the lyrics, another epic one Divide. Pure fire.
This song is so fitting for the yellow flash. I think we need a movie of Minato's build up to Hokage since we have seen why Kushina fell in love with him and we all know his fate, but... we need that middle bit to why he was chosen to be Hokage. Sure we all know bits to why but to see it would be awesome and the fact all shinobi were told to run away if they ever seen the yellow flash. So yeah, a movie is so needed, and this song should be the ending song because it's not only epic but sad also since again we know Minato's fate.
As much as I agree with you and I'd love nothing more than a Minato/Kushina film centered on the rise of the Fourth Hokage, much of the history was told already. And his sacrifice... both of their sacrifices were not in vain.
Naruto and what Naruto was able to accomplish over the years, are the legacy of Minato & Kushina. Their memory lives on in Naruto. Their will, lives on in him. They passed everything onto him.
The fact that we got to see them a bit more several times, and even Naruto got to spend time with them in Road to Ninja, is enough.
Naruto may have been an orphan, but he is no longer alone.
And the tale, as well as the Legacy of the Fourth Hokage continues to live on.
There's a legitimate chance we are getting a Minato spin off, kishimoto has been talking about it for years before naruto ended, and in a recent poll where they asked fans who they'd like to see get their own spin off Minato was first place.

I'm at work as this song just dropped. I'm balling my eyes out as I can't stop listening to this. Naruto as a series was my childhood growing up. I looked up to characters like Naruto, and Minato was by far one of the top characters I looked up to along with Naruto. This gives me a strong message that I've been having a hard time embracing the last few years, and if Minato was a real person, I have no doubt that this would be his message to all. I thank you so much for this song!

Damn. This one was a journey. I love how every song tells the characters story. You can hear the sorrow and pride that Minato has for Naruto. How during the final arc he finally gets to see his son in all his glory. Validating his and Kushina’s sacrifice.

This feels like a message that minato is telling to naruto. Every legend has a story that they write page by page with every sec of his or her day being-a single letter on a page by the end of the day completing a sentence. Ending out the month with a paragraph. Ending out the year with a page full of achievements along with mistakes to withhold to fix and get better next year.
You've proven just now that you don't need extravagant and ingenious lyrical rhyme schemes to makes something a masterpiece. Simplicity speaks louder than complexity sometimes.

I stopped watching Naruto when I was a kid so I never finished out the series. That said, this is honestly my favourite song of yours. It is incredibly touching and very pleasing to listen to.
