- Join us in our adventure boat trip through one of the main Chesapeake Bay rivers, the Potomac River visiting Colonial Beach, Shark Tooth Island and Leonardtown.

Nice Video. Would like to hear more of the logistics of the places you visit. Like cost to docks. Any free places to dock. Names of the bars and etc. Maybe a map of what you guys did.
Hi Gary. Thank you for the question. We always try to dock on the town's nicest crab house, have a nice dinner and stay there overnight for free. We always mention the place in our videos. For example here in Colonial Beach, we docked at the Dockside Restaurant & Tiki bar dock for free. We noted that almost every town in the Chesapeake Bay has a crab house or tiki bar with a free dock.

What bar were you the night in Colonial beach? Dockside?
Yeah that is the bar at the Marina at the end of the island.
What size has tank and engine do you have? Did you make it around on a full tank or have to fill on your journey? Thanks
My tank takes 73 gallons and I can do about 120 Nmiles range at 22 knots with my volvo penta 5.7 300hp (I could go faster but I try not to). I don't remember if I had to fill up for this trip but I assume I did because if i remember correctly, Colonial beach is about 60 Nmiles from DC so plus the trip to SharkTooth island and Leonard town must have required a fill up.
