I love listening to the podcasts while I run! Can't wait to hear more about the bed pod thing. I hope you feel better soon!

Get well soon again! Thanks for your excellent reviews! I still haven't bought a new sportswatch. Still using my old Polar Vantage 1, but consider to switch to Coros Pace Pro next year. Best wishes, Hans

Don’t worry about not posting on here all the time. I think most of us would prefer 1. You doing it when you can so you don’t get burnt out and 2. When you have lots of stuff to talk about! On another note that hoody looks dope AF.

The Hoka Mach X2 and Tecton X 3 are both great shoes! Surprisingly great offerings at a premium price, but probably worth the extra pennies. I'd also love to test/review the new Altra Timp 5 BOA (I anticipate the upper fit being much better). Cheers!

    1. Strava Year in Sport and Apple Watch SE ascendancy - is this just Strava membership growth with more mainstream people buoying Apple?
    2. Dave - do you think Garmin is going to enter the ring market? I would love to have a ring for day to day and be able to wear an old school timepiece without the opportunity cost of not capturing the data on my bike commute.

A Garmin Ring would be amazing but I feel like it's not a product they'd entertain. I could see them making a fitness band similar to a Whoop maybe but a ring takes a lot more R&D, and all of the sizes and infrastructure required seems like a headache. I think a more likely scenario might be Garmin partnering with a company like Oura and allowing Garmin Connect to pull data in from a third party platform. That might be a win/win for both companies and I think Oura/Garmin are already on good terms since two of their leaders spoke on stage together at Camp Strava last summer.

I was a hoka fan, but the toe box started to bother me. Went with the Saucany Endorphin Are you seeing more Hokas with wider toe boxes?

I have pretty wide feet and my go-to trail shoes have been Altra for years because of that. But I've found a few models from Hoka actually fit including the Tecton X3 while the older Tecton X2 was too narrow surprisingly.

Married man goes to Vegas with some buddies from the past, what could go wrong? What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

Ha! Luckily I don't gamble and I'll be in and out of meetings and at CES most of the time so my wife doesn't have much to worry about. My buddies though... I'm a little worried about them!

Would you still recommend buying a new fenix 7pro now, or should one wait for a price drop or new watches (fr975 venu 4 fenix 8 pro...). Curious, bc i d like to have a 7pro with flashlight, but software Support has stopped which sucks

Absolutely especially at current pricing. To be clear, the Fenix 7 series will continue to work indefinitely. It likely just won’t get any new features that might roll out on newer models. There will still be firmware updates to keep things current though. For example my 12 year old Fenix 1 still works and syncs to Garmin connect!
