I have so many raw chickpeas (or garbonzo beans haha) that I tried to make into chickpea flour, unsuccessfully cause those suckers are hard as rocks! and I have been needing to find something to do with this bag I've had for ages! So this recipe is well timed for me! Thanks for the great idea!

I make hummus frequently. I am assuming with this recipe you are leaving the skins on the chickpeas? Or did you remove after boiling?

looks really good, Hummus is an arabic dish, made with chickpeas, garlic, lemonjuice, tahini (sesamepaste) salt (litle bit of water)and a very important ingredient. namely olive oil. mixed together to a creamy paste, the way shown here has actually nothing to do with Hummus, you can add different spices to hummus that is true, but the basic ingredients you use do not create Hummus, but if you would substitute the last bit of water you added with olive oil you come very close
