Big up for Ken's friend who presented, really smooth and calm dude who said the right things and managed to put himself in the best spots to catch the right angles.
Looking in from the outside--while home in the US--Ken appears (on this channel) largely fun & games. "Ken in Europe" makes us realize he's a rock-solid Industry Professional, worthy of all the respect in the world. Hat's off to Ken for his past and continued accomplishments & performance. And a big THANK YOU for giving all of us a window to the inside world.
When I lived in Switzerland in 1982 they had the first Formula 1 Grand Prix since motor racing was banned after the Le Mans disaster in 1955. They had to stage the Grand Prix in Dijon in the south of France and it was chaos because they didn't accept Swiss Francs and there was nowhere to change your money.
I grew up in the italian alps, driving up and down like a maniac in my golf II on similar roads and I think I'm a handy driver... but I get scared just watching this, the skill of guys like Ken is something else...
Wet single lane mountain roads with no guard rail make me involuntarily clench every time!!!! The hills are alive with the sound of COSSIE :) Another fantastic vid boys.... great job.
Around nine years ago I went to Germany to see Ken and Alex attack the famous 'Panzerplatte' stage in the WRC Rallye Deutschland. So much respect for this guy! Gets out of his car for the start of every stage for a quick autograph or selfie with a fan. True legend!
Something so satisfying in seeing really expensive and dialled in suspension soaking up a car landing from that height, onto concrete...no drama, no fuss.
Glad to see I’m not the only one who thinks Ken’s wardrobe is nothing but racesuits. I bet even his jammies are a fire resistant and livery matched racesuit. I bet if we got a look at his wedding photos we’d catch him in one too!
You trust in your team and your equipment and your knowledge to stay absolutely calm under EXTREME pressure. You are INSANELY fast Ken. My dream is to have the chance one day of racing along side you even though I have yet to begin my racing career or even get my racing license. Your such an inspiration to all.
Is the footage of this video amazing or what!!!! The camera in front close to the deck reminds me of the old footage of pikes peak where Renault won back then. So cool! Awesome bro!!!
Thank you for sharing! I saw you on stage 2 at the pass of the "Lin". Super show! God bless you! Alex from the land of cows, chocolate, cheese and roads full of turns on which we have fun!
Doug Anderson I normally know this but yeah I got this one mistaken. And the reason is, that this is not my motherlanguage. I bet that you also dont know how to tell the difference between „seid“ and „seit“ in german. So fuck off. And btw if you are american, learn how to fucking pronounce Porsche. Its „Porsche“(you hear the „e“ just like in „end“) and not „Porsh“.
man if I would have known this was going on I probably would have taken leave from work to come see this, very few times in my life I would have had the chance to see Ken in Europe.
Switzerland has some truly beautiful geography & living there for a few years i met many wonderful people & it certainly provided some insights into Swiss society & the Swiss psyche. As with other nations, there is an aspect of darkness to Switzerland, the darkest thats blacker than black & goes some way to explain the paradox that is one of, if not, the richest country on the planet that for the majority of its existence had a national economy based on milk, chocolate & cuckoo clocks.

I love how Alex, who never looks up for anything while he's co-driving, looked up and smiled for the jump. Made my day 😂
And how just before the jump he tightens his harness
That ragazzo is a legend
and then he is like ok back to work lolol
I thought it was an "I'm no longer constipated" look 😆👍
Bleachy58 I always think it’s funny when he tightens his straps
Ken Block has got to be one of the best "on camera' drivers ever... Really easy to watch and always want more...

6th fastest OVERALL on the safety run!!
This, people, is how it's done.
Alex, reading the course notes pre-jump, tightens shoulder belts.
haha, just casually taking the morning coffee in his racesuit
FACT!
Anti-lag is magical ❤️❤️❤️ and, in case you thought Ken Block was all theatrics and camera editing? Nope. He is the real deal👍
Ken’s wardrobe consists of:
5 race suits
That is all
pretty much PJs...
Don’t forget about the monster hat
@@Billyg223 yeah he probably sleeps with it
Lol
3 pairs of sunglasses
Those are some insane switchbacks. Good job at being "safe"
Somehow....I live in Switzerland and missed this, I’m so angry 🤣🤣🤣
Same here, although he hinted about returning with an R5 next year...don't miss him again! :-)
I live 30 minutes from Mount Washington and always seem to miss the hill climbs 😂

Goodbye the Artist!
Thank you for sharing your passion with us. You made us dream. May God be with you and sustain your family!
The sight & sound of a Ken Block giving it full bastard is something else!
Rest in Peace the Legend Ken Block. Thoughts and prayers for the Block family.
Rally Drivers, balls of steel and the best drivers in the world.....fact !!!!

I love watching you do what you do! 🤪😜🤪
Ken is like Einstein he has a wardrobe filled with the same racing suit, so he doesn't have to waste time picking what to wear
স!???!!
ম!!
Switzerland looks beautiful would love to visit some time
0:29 --- Ken's pyjamas look exactly like his rally racing suit -- one time he raced in his pyjamas and no-one knew the difference! 😁
that anti-lag is like the soundtrack of my youth in the 90's
that landing looked surprisingly smooth from inside.
Something so satisfying in seeing really expensive and dialled in suspension soaking up a car landing from that height, onto concrete...no drama, no fuss.
Can we talk about that transition at 8:11. That was one of the smoothest I’ve ever seen
I guess there are flying cars in 2019.
2019 years ago?
@@Chris-wb2gb what are you talking about?
I could watch this on repeat all day! so awesome...MAX ATTACK!

For who he is and has become. He still is the coolest guy on earth. Not the best run, alot of changes, but for fun. I loved how he said that
Ken can we get a list of events we can visit across the EU? Would love to spectate one of these events with my dad one day.
Scary that I live in the eu, want to see one of these with my dad, and my name is Thomas 0_0
The dude filming has the best reactions, exactly how i would be if i were watching ken block rally too!
Thanks
Love the Cosworth. Rally Fords are just the coolest.
Ken Block: Safety Car. what a world we live in
Jeez I think Ken is going for ultimate sketch levels this year
Ken you are again a freaking legend to me

@@joelmorningstar3645 was that a pun?
Everyone : safety first
Ken: yeah,,yeah,, we'll se about that
I really think that some of the raw clips of this episode are actually best than the climbkhana 2
Ken (King Of All Hoonigan's}, thank you for sharing with all of us !
All hail Ken all hail Ken!! 🙌🙌 you are a savage man!
Please have him host more episodes!
The legend is, if Ken takes off his race suit he will lose his power.
hes like a hoonigan power ranger
Lol D
12:23 "so let's see how Ken will take this jump" *cut to shot of co-driver tightening seatbelts*
Having Ken as a safety car is about like having Hert be head of quality control.
😂
Christopher Walken cowbell approved!
I GOT A FEVER
And the cure is more cowbell

Ken is smiling while driving day two what a crazy guy
This though folks is driving, not drag racing no nascar no circle bs. This is driving. Sorry for all you haters. But this is it
Ken is a badass rally driver. No frocking doubt!
Rally, Day 2 Neil emerges from the alps, headed to a cow pasture, to the legendary jump
I can’t enough of these sounds.
Ken thank you for giving us Americans a view of this shit. Its amazing and its why i respect the hell out of Block
That jump was epic! And thanks for editing out the CO driver. It's so nice without the incoherent babbling for a non racing fan.
Never clicked on a vid faster been waiting to see a new episode.
8:09 lol I thought my brain broke for a second, I had to rewind.
Nice Format to present ! Cool ! The onboard view is spectacular
Love your videos, Man. I've been following you and the rest of Hoonigan for as long as I can remember, and it never seems to get old. Keep it up 😊
Respect from Russua, Ken! Happy birthday!!! I wish you happiness and health! Be the fastest ever!!!
Ken Block, you seriously need to open an actual Donut Shop in Utah! The merch sales alone would be through the roof!
I have a feeling when he says enjoys, it means to go as fast as possible.

It's hard to get over that breakfast view! Ken, not a bad day at the office bud. 🤙
I'm sure Ken wears his race suit 24hours a day. I'm convinced
Jaw actually dropped at that jump
"How many miles per gallon does it make?"
Cossie: *"No"*
I'm having DiRT Rally flashbacks.
Wild. What a scary course. Had me cringing a few times. Such a beautiful spot though.
Awesome vids man, the italian host is awesome really adds a little extra personality to the shots👍
Great video, cant wait for next event
