I’m convinced that Iyasama wrote this story from end to beginning. Those are the best stories, where the writer already knows the ending so they are able to write foreshadows more distinctly
At the very least, the foresight and the rumbling were always written. Probably a lot in the middle changed along the way, but the core parts we're definitely there at least by the time the anime started
@@mertegeselam8321 you'd be shocked how few are in serialized media. Even in fantasy epics, you have a lot of situations when either they don't know initially, or the cause changes a lot over the course of writing. For three prominent examples, the authors of Lost never knew what the end was going to be, which led to a lot of stalling and a terrible ending. Fullmetal alchemist changed halfway through the manga run. This led to wild divergence halfway through, which is why the original anime and brotherhood are so different. Finally, in sandman, the initial series was not done with much planning. Which led to book two specifically being very disjointed. When Gaiman had a chance to redo it for the Netflix show, he rewrote the whole thing to tie the various stories together much tighter
I love the part when Eren grabs the timestone and travels back in time to make sure that out of 14,000,501 potential universes, he had one shot to make the rumbling happen
Also idk if anybody realized but during the first colossal titan attack when the do a far out shot from outside the wall with the camera you can see about 2-3 smaller titans trying to eat the colossals legs
@@Koolasookis it was meant to be funny from your perspective but but to everyone view it almost seem like he had a rough day and is stressing out while uploading this video
Grisha tells Eren "THEIR memories will tell you how to use it" when he is about to transform in season 1 to protect mikasa and armin from the canon ball. We see Frieda bite her hand to transform in Grishas memory and since Eren had no tools in that moment, thats very likely where he got the hand biting habit from.
You're right about the foreshadowing, you're wrong about the part when he did it. The episode title is literally the answer: "To you (Eren), 2000 years in the future." Later in the story, another chapter/episode is called "From you (Ymir/the founder), 2000 years ago." As Eren said in the manga (idk if it's out in the anime yet), the Founder sees all of time at once, so Ymir and Eren are one and the same because of the Founder. Eren from the future (after he trampled 90% of the Marleyan continent) is the one who implemented those memories in himself in the first episode. He's also the one who controlled Dina Fritz (Zeke's mother) to not eat Bertholdt after he smashed a hole in the wall of Shiganshina and go straight for his own house. And he actually did way more things 😬.
Correct me if I'm wrong. But would there be future Eren that sees how things work out if he doesn't do all of these things? Meaning that our eren knows how things play out. And see's no other choice?
I recall the secret ability of the past and future being visible to the Attack Titan, not the Founding. I completely agree with everything else though, especially the part about Ymir and Eren becoming one essentially. I don't see many people that catch onto that, around the paths part there is a lot that leaves the implication that Eren is not just a slave to fate but also Ymir's will.
@@stevenmarecle5502 I think Eren realised that the future was inevitable, whatever action he carries out will lead to the same outcome. No path to take but the one laid out before him.
This only makes sense if reality or time is linear. Then there is no other possible future except that. However in saying that, if that is the case then there would be no point sending memories from the future to the present or past because the future is inevitable.
It really is tho because he could wake up at any time and decided he want to change the loop but I guess he can’t change the events that happens around everything else so it’s a loose loose situation
The attack titan can see the memories of future users , he can not send nor see his own future memories unless he sees the future memories of the previous user . In short what eren saw in his dream came from ymir , wich is why the first ep has that title ( the message that ymir send to eren , as he mentions it in s4 part 2 ), and not from young eren who at the time had no titan powers .
