Man your videos have such an amazingly chill vibe to them, so relaxing in the best way haha:p Love the vast variety of products and years too, don’t see this stuff very often. Also, loved that Felix the Cat die cut! Great video my friend!:)
Awesome break! I've always meant to pick some of those tins up just for the tins. The Potvin is sweet looking. Interesting parallels and inserts. Stellar jam and an amazing video!
Awesome break, mate. Love the tins. I worked in a card store for 6 months and we sold these as well as the Pinnacle tins. Lots of proper fun and flash in some of the older products.
Very cool product - nice looking cards - those tins look like they should contain something bigger like they are designed to hold two decks of regular playing cards.
Awesome. I actually bought a few of these recently, some are still in the mail. I plan on getting a few more. The cards are great and I do I have a little tin collection going.
Another fun video. I would have to check but I don't think I opened any of the Donruss tins. I did quite a bit of the Leaf tins though. I got a Color Guard of Marc Denis and quite a few parallels and die cuts. I know there were mass produced cards back then but I do miss the competition. You had so many companies that were coming up with new design and sets such as this. There was so much that innovation in the market that UD still uses or copies to this day. As always a great video.
Those were awesome tins haha. Of course more awesome goalie mojo. You and Felix are meant to be brothers with how much he makes an appearance on your channel lol. I love the look of the gold, but the best was the aforementioned Felix card. Wow. Thank you for sharing! I recently opened a 1972 ITG year in hockey blaster and thought of you because of your breaks. I hit a auto as well so that was a bonus. Always very enjoyable with your details and information. Have a good weekend brother. #DRYDEN
I opened a ton a long time ago. Had a bunch of Hossa RCs. They were kind of cheap at first and jumped overnight to 80 bucks each. Covered my costs for it all.
#Dryden I just had to watch this video...I opened a ton of these tins back in the day! (I still have the tins sitting in boxes to this day.) I was lucky enough to pull a Paul Kariya Precious Metals Platinum; but unfortunate enough that somebody stole it from me about a month later....arrrrgh! I loved those Color Guard inserts too...Still have one of Ron Hextall. That Felix Potvin Color Guard brough back bad memories of the Cat's time in Vancouver, and a picture someone put together of a beachball bouncing into the net behind Felix....lol
ive opened cases of this stuff, mostly bought from Grizzley. Most of the inserts are bent unless you get a die cut; also the US based small tins are impossible to locate. If you could ever get a hold of 97-98 Zenith, youre a magician.
Would love ro have that Beezer tin with that Beezer card to go along with Beezer tin box and the Niedermayer card that I also have already. Loved the packing at way back when and love it still. #DRYDEN
#Dryden I am still putting this set together started in 97/98 but continued about 10 yeras ago as I came across my partial set and it's one of my favs so nice slowly chipping away at it need the harder stuff like platinums
Wow the stuff brings back memories, I’d love to buy a whole box of this but it’s crazy expensive, I’ll just stick to getting the singles that I want on eBay. My guys from back in the day would be bourqe and forsberg. The PMG cards do exist on eBay but they are insanely expensive.
@@Fultoncards You should've bought all you could because they sell for $20-25 USD PER TIN on Ebay. I have 2 boxes of unopened tins, -1 tin which I apparently lost somehow, including putting together 2 complete sets of the 12 tons. I put them together buying them at Meijer's so I could have 47 packs with inserts or 0 packs with inserts! I opened quite a bit when they came out and they're gorgeous cards! I'm putting up one of the sets of 12 unopened tons on Ebay and hoping to get about $250-300!
#dryden this brought me back i would have been 18 my last year playing hockey tride out for barrie colts made the practice team played 4 games 4 the colts played 38 games for Toronto bucks that season and bench 6 games
Another awesome video, always love the older product breaks.. Keep up the great content and love the Jagr...
that Potvin is sick! Cool cards, nice break

Nice vid, pretty cool stuff

I love those Tins....I didn't love how sometimes those cards got stuck in them though. #DRYDEN
I thought it would be a while prior to your next video. Was sad, glad it came so soon. Interesting break, I had never seen these before. #Dryden

I think I got the entire box from Grizzly for $27 a year or so ago, which would have been Canadian dollars.

Any chance you still have that Marty Brodeur gold parallel? Is it for sale?
Love this set !
#dryden
