You're the only other person I've seen use those little fire starter pucks, I use them too. You can get a dozen of them for a couple of bucks here in the states. Very easy to carry too. And waterproof.

Hey to each his own. The slurping didn't bother me at all. It's people's frames of minds. When a drink is that hot you have to slurp it you can't sip it because it will burn your lips. С таким запасом дров,и такого качества холодную ночь при даже небольшом морозе можно и не пережить. Про теплоизоляцию отдельное слово,это все равно что сидеть в мороз у костра,ну хоть без ветра. Дров надо немеряно!!!

Slurping hot drinks is fine in the UK. In the US, not so much! Passing gas at the table is plain rude in any household in my opinion. Not funny, just ignorant...Of course I was raised in a time when manners were taught before we went to school. Slurping in our house was mostly done by kids. Adults poured hot drinks into a saucer to cool. I blow on my hot drink cause I was raised in foster homes that didn't tolerate anything...lol.😔
