I like this mod, but sadly, the level design is not made with certain character mods in mind like E-102 Gamma. E-102 cannot beat levels that require you to spin dash below a small passage way that is impossible to go across without spindashing. E-102 is too tall to do it.
What you need to do is download the alt Sonic model included in the addon’s download page, and add it in the play+ folder. Then you need to open the model file containing model codes. It’s the model file that’s not a folder. Open it with something like notepad or something. There, you need to add alt Sonic’s model code, which should be in the download page. Then you’re done.
