The thing I love about AP is his joy. He just spreads joy. He loves what he is doing so much, and it shows. Thanks for sharing, dude. Great interview, Cooksey, not the normal canned ham interview. Very natural conversation.
Aaron is my home Cooksey. We grew up 15 min. Apart. My friend is Aaron's dad's best friend.Actually cowboy from the city of Hamilton OH. His dad Scotty had his own dealership for many years. Shout out to AP from Mark Ross.Visit while home please.😊
I've been wondering about this for a while now. I remember back in the early 2000s seeing the Plessinger stickers on front fenders all throughout the Buckeye Series. I've probably seen him at the track when he was young. I'm in Greenville Ohio about 10 minutes away from the old Treaty City mx track. They are down to just occasional practice sessions, there isn't a starting gate out there anymore. Sad that the Ohio mx tracks are all closing out the races
He beat me at the Ironman when he was about 14 I got stuck about a quarter mile from the finish and was wooped, but I’m glad he is doing Moto and kicking ass,I race the enduro there and live right by the muddobbers!
The number 7 was passed down from a legend right to another legend. Fastest man on a bike to the most liked man on a bike. They're both hard workers and as legendary as each other. They both rip, and make our sport look great... I'm not even American, but I would totally chant "USA" if Plessinger makes the US team for the Des Nations.... Total respect to you as well, Cooksey, and much love from Dubai! ❤
Holy Hell Cooksey!! You weren't bs'ing when you said you were stepping up!!! Say hello to the Bad Guy! Look up Razor Ramon for some new "Bad Guy" intro sound bites✊✊killing it man!!
Thank you for having Arron on the show I really appreciate you two chopping it up and letting us be apart of it thank you again love and respect from the bay area California Larry VanBruntjr
Great content my man! That was awesome. Thanks to AP too for being on your show. I really hope you're able to do more interviews with more riders... There's no way anyone will top AP but you ask different questions and you really try to get their real thoughts out to the world & that's what i think is so cool.
Good snag cookesy! Love this guy and thanks for not shying away from any questions that’s what we need with this interviews and this sport in general!! Ty for this one though especially ! I’m an Ohioan as well and only a few hours east of ap 💪😎huge fan !#7 ktm cowboy 🤠
this is great. glad to hear AP and Chase get along well. AP knows if it was the other way around on the track he would do the same thing to Chase. Class act of a human.
Congrats on a legit interview with one of the best in the 450 Pro biz! Some kook was mocking you & Walty on a WaltyWandersMx post... I suggested some interviews... guy said no one wants to do any with him or you... and here you go... Love your truth drops... Love AP!
Kenny lives (lived) 10 miles from me, before I stopped riding I rode out at his compound all the time. He wasn't there 99% of the time, but my buddy Anthony was living and training out there for freestyle...So I'd go out there and hit ramps, ride his arenacross track, or we'd go out to the 500 and rip some single track. I found out i absolutely hate a foam pit and it's far from 'soft' lol. Didn't help that it was packed down and needed fluffed either, and then the foam pit dust fucks up your lungs, and when you're upside down you can't hear, see, and cant really breathe because of the dust... you're just hoping they're jumping in to put the strap around your rear wheel and pull you out, i hate that feeling lol. I also hate the feeling of staying on the bike even when you know you're under rotating, it goes against every natural instinct which is to get away from the bike. Anyway, Idk how he rode tight single track on a 450 with suspension valved for freestyle, even on my motocross set up it had a lot of deflection off rocks and roots, and i was on SSS suspension which is far more plush and forgiving compared to a lot of motocross set ups.. He eventually got a set of stock SHOWA air forks and shock to throw on it for those days.. and he's a fast dude on a motocross track and in the woods, he grew up in Colorado riding that super rocky and technical single track/goat trails, so his bike skill is off the charts compared to a lot of FMX guys who can do all the tricks, but don't have the raw bike skill of a high level motocross or enduro racer. I rode with Kenny's uncle a lot too, not Guy Cooper (I have rode with him a few times, especially when he owned and ran Cooperland, the Schultz family ruined that and it got shut down years ago), but Chuck Cooper, who's a better enduro rider than Guy even though he denies it, and before he quit racing motocross I believe he had a 'factory' Team Green amateur ride. After that he did some pro stuff in the woods and is still extremely fast even at his age...especially for a dentist lol. Guys shop is also amazing too, he turned it into a motocross/motorcycle (of all types) museum. Sorry for the rant, it's just rare to hear Kenny's name these days even though he does some demos still. The funny part, he doesn't ride at all during the week/throughout the year, only during demos which are few and far between... and he's still just as good.
Everybody’s missing that point! Even with three riders a healthy Hunter, with Chase and if Eli doesn’t skip a beat when he comes back, the cowboy won’t even podium!
You know who he is and what bike he rides. It's not all about results anymore. Dylan ferandis is a great example. 2nd outdoors and couldn't find a ride
Chase sextons dad is a hard working guy, he was the shop manager of the local Chevy garage and always did us right. Don’t waste your time bad mouthing that family, absolutely class, best thing for the sport!!! Cooksy rulz
AP deserves a win more than any rider out there. He is the embodiment of the fans and the sport as. I honestly believe once he actually earns a win he will become a full on contender each week. Chase is still the best rider in the sport. Yes even better than Jett as far as a total package. But AP can make it interesting. If Eli can find his old way of riding again he will be back at top but if not he will be where AP is.
Loving AP#7. I wish we could see the worm after a win again lol. The guy just exudes that I'd love to hang out with some day attitude. Hey Chris, since you can contact these riders can you contact AP and see if he's got a cowboy hat he wouldn't mind parting with. You know so he can make room for some new ones. I'll take any but the black or gray would do just fine.
AP was never winning that race at Washougal, stall or not! Always feel there is a lot of what ifs and this or that would have happened... fantasy land most of it! Mostly leads when others mess up is the real truth.... nice guy, but nice rarely wins!
Aaron plessinger is going to be the next champion really good loves the United States of America and that makes me happy God bless you Aaron plessinger right on
It’s funny to me because it just seemed to happen not to long ago. It’s a character in a way that now he’s going to have to stick with. It would have been more authentic if he was from that lifestyle but it’s great to see personality in the sport. Dude there’s way to many robots after the race reading all the sponsors from the pit boards and thanking the same old people. It’s always exciting when he’s up there on the podium with fans cheering him on. I saw him at unadilla last year and he’s without a doubt the most popular alongside the Yamaha kid Danger since James Stewart was racing.
The thing I love about AP is his joy. He just spreads joy. He loves what he is doing so much, and it shows.
Thanks for sharing, dude.
Great interview, Cooksey, not the normal canned ham interview. Very natural conversation.
Aaron Plessinger!!!!! I love the "Cowboy"!

Love this interview!! Great job Cooksey! Thanks AP for being genuine! This was fun to listen to!

Definitely the most down to earth pro motocross rider ever. 🎯
Absolutely! Great guy and great racer.
Yeeeewwww glad to see the cowboy on the show!! Let’s be real KTM needs him to soften their brand image and they’ll pay any price
Holy Hell Cooksey!! You weren't bs'ing when you said you were stepping up!!! Say hello to the Bad Guy! Look up Razor Ramon for some new "Bad Guy" intro sound bites✊✊killing it man!!
AP is the most likable guy in motocross history
Awsome!! Aaron is honestly such a rad guy! The sport is lucky to have him. I’ve met him a few times and he signed my wife’s $1k cowboy boots ☺️
Love the shot out at the end to a subscriber... that's cool. AP is a legend.
Thank you for having Arron on the show I really appreciate you two chopping it up and letting us be apart of it thank you again love and respect from the bay area California Larry VanBruntjr

Just want you to know, I've literally never "joined" a single YT channel, until 45 seconds ago. love what you do Cooksey.
Thanks! That is high praise.
Same!
Super nice guy for sure! That was genuine Plessinger. That beer chug was some Stone Cold Steve Austin stuff!
this is great. glad to hear AP and Chase get along well. AP knows if it was the other way around on the track he would do the same thing to Chase. Class act of a human.
AP7 For President!!!🏁
Congrats on a legit interview with one of the best in the 450 Pro biz! Some kook was mocking you & Walty on a WaltyWandersMx post... I suggested some interviews... guy said no one wants to do any with him or you... and here you go... Love your truth drops... Love AP!
He's so genuine, definitely one of my top 3 racers, tomac, plessinger, and deegan.
AP has been on FIRE. His first half speed has been unreal.
Aaron has the Best hair, mustache, and personality. We love this dude!
Friggen love this dude. One of the many reasons I've been back to following moto, and trying to grab another bike. Fun stuff.
Good job on getting a solid dude on your show.
He is a solid dude!
Best interview ever! Let’s go A.P!! The best representation of America! Let’s go Cowboy!!
Dude is so chill. Love AP. You’re doing great content as well. Keep it up!!!
AP just brings the FUN, and that’s what I find most appealing about his contribution to our sport 👊🇺🇸
“Score!”
Thank you Jounny!
Good listen thanks Chris.
Modern day Kenny “Cowboy” Bartrem

@@yamahakid450f I’m sure you prob went over to Jones as well? I used to live out in Stillwater. You know Brian Dowdy?
With a full field he's a top 10 rider.
The legend himself! AP 🇦🇺🇺🇸
They should make those hats for merch at the races, they would sell out so fast!
Hell yeah Cooksey!!! Keep being you brother
AP is the cowboy !!! 😎
I hope you get to do more of these! Keep grinding!! 💪
I will, but interviews are not my favorite.
Great interview AP
Hell yeah Cooksey. Stepping your game up🤘
Chase sextons dad is a hard working guy, he was the shop manager of the local Chevy garage and always did us right. Don’t waste your time bad mouthing that family, absolutely class, best thing for the sport!!! Cooksy rulz
Great vid cooksey i enjoy giving you a hard time you know you ask for it most the time 😂

Good stuff cookesy. Getting top factor guys on your channel. Moving on up big dog 🎉
Awesome video!!!
Awesome video great story from AP about the Cowboy hat starting here at the Boot barn ! Crazy
KTM better keep Aron, he puts a very positive and upbeat face on the “Orange Team”. The bonus is he’s fast as hell !
They only signed him for one more year, so I’d say ktm have plans and plessinger isn’t included.
I am also one who has been unsubscribed but still get all the notifications of new vids.
Damn good job cooksey
Great video cooksey your da man and let’s go W AP for coming on the show
AP is the Kid Rock of motocross
APs been killing it this season. Great interview AP/Cooksey. Thanks for this one.
Loving AP#7. I wish we could see the worm after a win again lol. The guy just exudes that I'd love to hang out with some day attitude. Hey Chris, since you can contact these riders can you contact AP and see if he's got a cowboy hat he wouldn't mind parting with. You know so he can make room for some new ones. coolest dude in mx, cowboy!
I'll give you a thumbs up on that one!
AP is ok in my book. He's genuine.
Such a good dude!
Get them at unidilla cowboy 🤠
AT7 FOR LIFE!
AP makes all us 6ft+ guys proud lol
i can’t believe AP would b on a Summers Eve’s youtube channel🤦♂️
Cowboy Kenny Bertram is the original cowboy on a dirtbike
Fair!
HELL YA COOKSEY!
Thank you!!!
AP7, how can you not love this guy. Definitely in my top three favourite riders of all time.
The Cowboy is our favorite because its American. Yee Haw 🤠
I love when Riders are just themselves...need more of this! I respect Aldon Baker but he's a lame stiff🤷♂️
Keer sexton chases dad is a big guy, twice the shoulder thickness of a regular guy, kinda like grant Langston. Genetics go a long way.
Yeee Haw Cowboy 7 !
Hey chris i just had to subscribe for the 3rd time this week freaking youtube
Were you a Fluffer before podcasting ?
😛
Members get the video 3 days before a sub? Why subscribe…
Chase is more like SUPERMAN
Truth, Justice, and the American way.
Both should go represent
AP was never winning that race at Washougal, stall or not! Always feel there is a lot of what ifs and this or that would have happened... fantasy land most of it! Mostly leads when others mess up is the real truth.... nice guy, but nice rarely wins!
Ap is killing it! Ktm is smart keeping this guy around. Proud to own a ktm and will buy another in the future. Great interview Cooksey!
Why do you always sound like you're pushing out a loaf
#38 will back out of representing his country MXoN, another year, another excuse 🤣🇺🇸🤡🤣
Ktm should fire him for who he is, and hire a real rider but hey at least they don't have marrha stewart with her hair extensions
Dope! Enjoyed it
Aaron plessinger is going to be the next champion really good loves the United States of America and that makes me happy God bless you Aaron plessinger right on
I’ve ALWAYS liked Aaron…I do NOT like The Cowboy. It’s so annoying and fake.
It’s funny to me because it just seemed to happen not to long ago. It’s a character in a way that now he’s going to have to stick with. It would have been more authentic if he was from that lifestyle but it’s great to see personality in the sport. It’s always exciting when he’s up there on the podium with fans cheering him on. I saw him at unadilla last year and he’s without a doubt the most popular alongside the Yamaha kid Danger since James Stewart was racing.
If you're annoyed by a guy wearing a cowboy hat your life must be quite miserable.😢
Are we just on a pretend that, that wasn’t a monster energy drink!? 😂🫣🤫
