I can't find the spotify link in the description?
she's my sweet lil baby and I'm her pride and joy
Amazing video! Is there a Guide to the Jazz coming? I would love it
I love Blues style 😍😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹
Beautiful, musician, and you like blues, you are everything, Cheers, love your video
i appreciate how neatly structured this video is. thank you!
Very thorough and informative overview of the history of blues. Much appreciated!
That was excellent. Thank you!
Great video, thanks for sharing it!
Very thorough, educational and professionally done.
Wow. Thank you!
I actually really enjoyed this, I've been trying to get more into jazz and blues lately and found this very helpful :)
Absolutely love the blues. Have a couple of self-teaching blues keyboard books but truthfully out of my league so I settle mostly for just listening. Since I'm a blues person myself I wondered how you were going to cover the blues and if you'd miss anything significant. In 13 minutes I don't know how you could have done any better. Good job as usual..thanks
excelente muy bueno muchas gracias
Thank you!!
Thank you for this
I missed out (a must to be set in the 90's) Gary Moore, who has definately set some marks with "Still got the Blues", "Parisienne walkways", "I love you more than you'll ever know" (just to name a few).
Thanks nicely presented ;)
Stevie Ray Vaughan
I'm so glad you mentioned ZZ Ward! She's awesome.
Thank you for very informative history presentation! I only missed to names which had huge influence on the style and other players: Blind Willie Johnson and Blind Blake (first guitar virtuoso of blues and ragtime).
Blind Willie Johnson recorded gospel, not blues.
Amazing video! When is the guide to Chicago drill coming out?
I’m self teaching and it gets difficult sometimes finding motivation to keep playing. Your videos are inspiring and keep me going. Thanks a lot
Ps. Please post more Tsunami videos
Would love to see your analysis on Albert Ammons’ music.
Brilliantly put together video and channel, what do you use to edit?
Can you make a jazz history video please? I really need that
Very good historical outline, there are too few of those. The blues is actually the father, rather than the predecessor, of ALL popular music genres that are known today......heavy metal for example was created by guitarists like Tony Iommi, who fused the blues with a darker tint of rock music....but rock music would never have existed without the blues. Also, the influence of blues is as powerful as ever as it's importance in all genres of jazz has never diminished....the blues is the soul of jazz, so to speak. It's all over the place, for example in smooth jazz, which is heard everywhere because of it's easy listening approach. Hope you'll make an historical outline of jazz, too :)
you got big eyes!! Nice video
Hi, I love this kinds of videos. I am a huge fan but I have never commented before. I'd really like to know what are your opinions on teaching 3 year olds/really young kids. I am starting teaching and I could really use a tip or two. Have a nice day!
Please repost the chart! Excellent info!
hey love you video I know I'm late to the party but I would say that Mississippi Blues came before Memphis Blues. I would also say that Texas Blues did not derive from British Blues because you had big-time people like T-bone Walker and lightning Hopkins that greatly influenced people like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmie Vaughan his brother!
Can you do a brief history of Erik Satie?
is it me or i cant see spotify link?
Isn't there also a lower 5th in the Blues scale, in addition to the lower 3rd and 7th?
Not one mention of Jake and Elwood Blues ?
Howlin Wolf was the one with the gravely voice influenced by Patton
I listen to Black Metal, Ex-Yu Rock, Reggae and I think it would be great if I could find some kind of blues group that I could enjoy to.
where is the spotify link?
i like when you make the big eyes thing :)
Would have liked a mention of Robert Johnson and the blue note at the crossroads and the devil.
Hello, you may not see this but i am thirteen and has been taking lessons since 7 currently i am a grade 4 pianist and using the RCM books i have been practicing for atleast 3h a day because i’ve been sick lately and finishing grade four songs within 3-7 days if there is any tips you can think of for me please let me know
Hi, the link to the blog post is not working any more. Does the spotify playlist still exists ?
Wondering the same thing.
🥲
Where is the link to the Spotify playlist? Also where can I find the map as a whole picture?
can we talk more about the differences between jazz and blues.
What style blues would you call James brown
Thank you so much. Sadly, you didn’t show us the whole map of your categorization at the end 😢
this would be great with audio references though.. nice content
Hey did you take off that playlist from the description? I'm not finding it haha
Same here. Blog post is gone also. :(

You called Handy Hardy once. You called Pinetop Perkins Pinetop Smith.
Pinetop Perkins is my favorite.

Why did she not include albert ammons?
Amazing job! But it´s a pitty that Eric Clapton is briefly mentioned....
Where is Spotify playlist
I was also looking for it.
She didn't mention John Mayall?
2:17 Didn't hear minstrel at first...

you must be thining of the shadows lol ua-cam.com/video/En28zSlyLz4/v-deo.html
2021 anyone?
she tackles the blues eh? ha
Ok look, if the music begins on a dominant chord (I7) then transitions to a dominant four chord (IV7) on the fifth bar of the song, it is technically and societally a blues song. Blues is not a construct, it is a definitive type of music comprised of a specific sequence of chords. For example; the Twelve Bar Blues.
Good presentation but Baton in Baton Rouge is pronounced like Bat-un and not Buh-tawn.
your hi is so scary
i dont think piano suits the blues, guitar does which is why i play it. Piano is made for the jazz.
Wow, it really gets me in the great mood, it's so catchy.
you forgot led zeppelin
Not good video.. most information ain't right.. do your homework gurl
Could you please specify what's wrong?
