One of my favorite rides. It's quick but you do get wet and the climb up makes you lean back in your seat.
Thought this was just a ride where you go around like the beginning and no hills at all. While we got up the hill I was so scared. Lets just say almost shit my pants and had a panic attack but at the same time thought it was fun and wanted to do it again. Definitely a frightful falls! Can’t imagine myself on Pilgrims Plunge! 😂🤣🤣💩
This is fantastic. Nobody else on this entire website has a POV of this ride (at least not as good as this one). Do you have any other POV's like Raging Rapids, Liberty Launch or Gobbler Getaway?
Thank you! I do have a POV of Liberty Launch that I will have out soon
@@coastercrutchfield That's it? Oh well. Better than nothing.
@@mitchellries256 I try to get as much as I can when I travel, but most of the time I only spend a day at the park.
I’m going there tomorrow can’t wait
wow i went 2 weeks ago!
im going on the 11th
Back in the mid 1980's there used to be bubblegum stuck everywhere to the walls of the tunnel when you first entered after leaving the station. I contributed my own few additions as well. Pretty gross but one of my childhood memories of this ride. They win cleanest park all the time these days so hard to believe that was ever a thing now.
💀💀💀💀
I had the same memory of the gum wall when I was young. I thought the same thing watching this. Great memories 😄😁
this was literally so traumatic for me when i was younger lol i went on it one time with my parents and it took my stomach i literally felt like a was about to vomit and that's the main reason i didn't wanna go on it ( i have a bad fear of vomit)
Such a classic attraction. Enjoyed it as a kid, and now take my own children on it
Omg this ride and all rides at holiday world are great I rlly recommend going to holiday world it’s just so fun and me and my family go every summer for three days. It’s like Disney but has a water park
Yes I recommend too
Is that a Hopkins or an Arrow flume?
I wonder how you managed to get away with filming this. When they were training me they said you see someone pull out s phone or camera stop the ride you gotta tell them to put it away or you have to stop the ride. Nice pov though!!
probably a gopro
@@ilikesex5565 yeah but I work here. All lose items are not permitted on these rides. People do it all the time anyways though lol.
@@JonathonGomez There are chest mounted go pros that are secure on a person that use straps kinda like a reverse backpack.
@@Jbr2005 that’s also considered a lose article.
I guess some workers don’t care because I’ve seen people ride with GoPros and their phones in those water protective pouch necklace things from the gift shop
Reminds me a little like Thunder Falls at Funtown Splashdown USA.
Probably my favorite ride
I stuck so much gum on that tunnel wall in the 90’s
Best ride their I love it!
Was a fun ride but the water smelt horrible
This is my first time learning of this ride… I have never visited the park or been on this ride BUT I am obsessed over its charm and simplicity 💦
one of my favorite rides of all time back when I was young, one thing I remember is that in the dark tunnel at that little dip their used to be light and mirrors what ever happen to that?
There gone it’s just pitch black
@@vlogzbybre wish they could like put some LED lights to replace those or something
Rode this when i was younger lost my hat lol hat flew off
This is my fav ride
hated this ride. wasnt a fav
Why?
How tall is this ride?
Time to get a watch
How wet do you get on this one?
In the back, you get pretty wet. In the front, you're soaked.
Nice ☺️
❤️&✌️
Not quite sure why they call it Frightful; Beautiful park though!
Most I can figure is the ride is in the Halloween section of the park.
When it opened nearly 40 years ago it was the biggest ride in the park! So back then it was the best way to get a thrill. That’s probably why lol
No water running down the hill? Not much of a falls if it's dry!
Usually there is water flowing down, there’s a button that turns it off if needed
I was so scared when I first rode it but I want to ride it again very fun
