    Simply, taking a video is a Lagrangian method, but watching a movie on the screen is a Eulerian method.

    I'm writing a paper where I talk about atmospheric flow as it pertains to climatology, and I came across a book detailing fluid mechanics in lagrangian coordinates. I didn't know what that meant, but I do now, this video was so awesome! :)

    It was very graphically explained what is the meaning of Lagrangian and Eulerian approach. Especially last example of having loving feelings for beloved. Wonderful. so when we take a control volume (Finite) under study then we go for eulerian approach otherwise Lagrangian approach.

    Something like measuring the velocity of a river By a flotation device moving past a point on the river bank and then recording the time it takes to flot a 100 meters to the next point on the bank Or a fixed point in the river Counting the number of flotation devices, of knowen spacing ,as they pass by it
