- Serving the purpose of a gift, this beast of a model contains all the bells and whistles that a California Highway Patrol (CHP) Ford Police Interceptor Utility has. I even went as far as adding bendable antennas and lightbar mounted Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPRs)! Watch the full video to see all of the other minute details added to this model.

Awesome job, the light bar should always have the red light on the driver side, yours it has the blue light on the left. Driver side is supposed to be red because red is brighter and grabs peoples attention faster than blue. An when the police unit is making a traffic stop they are pulled over to the right shoulder usually.. Makes sense if you think about it. But you did an amazing job.
Thank you so much for your kind words! While usually the lightbar is in most cases red on the left and blue on the right, CHP is unique. If you look up their cars, you can see that the front seems “normal” but the red and blue are flipped on the back.

Has a police department ever ordered from you so they have models for their office and stuff?
I have made quite a few models for police officers that work for police departments, but I have never made models for an entire department.
You could make a wooden base where a small personalized placard could be placed for a retirement gift or gift in general. Having a small base would make it easier to display on a desk or shelf . Awesome work man. Do you build any bmw S1000RR models? I need one for my garage to match my bike.
I do have that as an option. Most customers just prefer having no base. And yes, I should be able to customize a BMW S1000RR bike for you when orders reopen!

Thank you!! Unfortunately Corona did meddle with my model making since it was taking forever to get parts delivered. Some parts weren’t even being shipped too. Luckily now, things are basically back to normal.
